I visited the painting exhibition "Invisible Neighbors: Erased by Urbanization." It features hand-painted artworks—created the old-fashioned way, before the advent of AI—and is free to the public, aiming to raise awareness among urban children who often fail to recognize the animals living around their cities. In addition to local corporate sponsorship, the exhibition receives public funding through the Rouanet Law, which allows companies to direct a small portion of their taxes straight to cultural projects like this one. This means that the organization, setup, transport, venue rental, and other costs associated with this traveling exhibition are covered by tax funds.

Each painting was accompanied by an explanatory text describing the animal and its habits, written in language accessible to children.

Visitei a exposição de pintura "Vizinhos Invisíveis: apagados pela urbanização", que é uma exposição de quadros pintados à mão (como antigamente quando não havia IA), de acesso livre e voltada para conscientização de crianças urbanas, já que muitos não reconhecem os animais que rodeiam as cidades. Além de patrocínio local de empresas da cidade onde a exposição está em amostra, também há o patrocínio do poder público através da Lei Rouanet que permite que empresas repassem uma pequena parcela do seu imposto diretamente para projetos culturais como este. Isso significa que a organização, montagem, transporte, aluguel do espaço, e etc, dessa exposição itinerante é paga através de impostos.

Para todos os quadros, havia um texto explicativo sobre o animal e seus hábitos, em linguagem acessível para as crianças.
