Blind Tasting Three Low-Calorie Beers
What a great idea it was to buy the three low-calorie beer labels available at the local market. I immediately thought about doing a blind tasting, which gave me the perfect excuse to buy one bottle of each brand. After all, I was only familiar with one of them, so I created this "need" to make a post as justification for buying all three!
Right from the start, we noticed a huge difference in carbonation, with Imperio Ultra standing out by keeping its foam for much longer, as you can see in photo 5.
When it came to flavor, we felt like we had arranged the bottles in descending order, so the farther to the right, the lighter the taste (that classic "watery beer" feeling). Amstel Ultra came out on top with the best overall flavor!
As for calories, we relied on the information printed on each label. Petra Ultra took the win with just 69 kcal!

Sensacional essa minha ideia de comprar três rótulos de cervejas de baixa calorias que estavam disponíveis no mercado local. Imediatamente pensei em fazer uma degustação às cegas, assim eu tinha um motivo para comprar uma unidade de cada marca. Afinal eu conhecia apenas uma delas, e então criei essa "necessidade" de fazer uma postagem como justificativa para comprar todas as três!
E logo de cara notamos que havia uma diferença brutal na carbonatação, com destaque para a marca Imperio Ultra, que manteve a espuma por muito mais tempo como você pode ver na foto 5.
No quesito sabor tivemos uma sensação de ter ordenado as garrafas na ordem decrescente, de forma que quanto mais à direita, mais leve o sabor (a famosa cerveja "aguada"). Venceu Amstel Ultra como melhor sabor final!
No quesito calorias, temos a informação do fabricante estampada no rótulo, ficou com Petra Ultra com apenas 69 kcal!
