In addition to Rising Star Game, I also play Splinterlands. In fact, Splinterlands was my start in Hive and also in the crypto world. Before that, my knowledge about NFTs and cryptocurrencies was practically zero, and it was thanks to this game that I fell in love with everything this world has to offer.
Today I will talk about my Guild Brawl. I belong to the guild The Grand Praetorian Army, a level 8 guild that participates in Tier 4 Brawls, which is the second highest Tier a guild can reach. This means that the battles are not easy, but I consider myself a good player, so so far I have had no problems bringing good results to my guild, and you can see that out of 21 players I managed to get fifth place.
Lately, the overall results have not been very good because some players end up forgetting to send their cards to battle, and this greatly affects the result. In the end, we ended up in eighteenth place in the ranking, which is why the amount of SPS was low.
Even though I didn't have such a good result, I still like being in the guild and it offers me a 12% bonus in battles, so I end up compensating for this "low" amount of SPS in my ranked battles with this bonus. I'm also going to take advantage and buy 5 Gladius Cases with the merits I collected from the last 2 Brawls.
I didn't get any legendary cards, but gladiator cards aren't about rarity, but about utility, since they can't be sold. In fact, all cards are about utility, but getting legendary cards that can be traded is always an extra joy in the life of any Splinterlands player. I'm happy to have gotten at least one epic, and especially because it was Quora Towershead, who is quite powerful, so for only 5 Gladius Cases, this was a great pack opener.
I'm going to take the opportunity to take a shower and rest playing Splinterlands after a tiring day at work. Now that the day has reset in the game, I can buy more energy with Glint without having to pay an additional 50%. Normally, I only get energy from the Minor, Major and Ultimate chests, but since I started this season late, I ended up buying energy yesterday and today in the Champion 3 league, where the price is reasonable for my earnings. When I get to the Champion 1 league, I'll just get energy from the chests because, in my opinion, it's more worthwhile.
This is an example of a battle where my opponent barely saw what hit him because he couldn't react to my powerful combination of cards and as you can see my gain in both SPS and Glint makes up for buying energy, but this is only valid up to Champion League 3, after that the value becomes too high and I prefer not to spend Glint this way and instead with the chests I mentioned before since in addition to getting energy I will also get several cards and maybe even a jackpot.
I play in Wild format because I prefer not to have any limitations on which cards I can use and because I also find it fun to have Alpha/Beta and Untamed edition cards available for me to build different strategies, it is still difficult to play against bots, especially in the higher leagues but I can't complain because I also use one when I'm too tired to play or don't have time.
