Buy Loot Chests From The Glint Shop Or Buy Individual Rebellion Reward Card Directly

Greetings, my dear Splinterlands mates.

I hope you are having fun with Splinterlands, with a lot of different tactics, rulesets, and many new meta cards that are always changing because the Rebellion edition added so many new cards. One of the most exciting things about Splinterlands is always trying to own good cards and win a bigger portion of a reward. It is very important to do better in the game, no matter how long you have been playing or how new you are. In recent times, the soulbound cards can be unlocked for trading, and players can either buy Rebellion reward cards straight from the Glint Shop or pull from Loot Chests. It can be exciting to buy individual cards, but I have found that getting Loot Chests is usually a better deal. I'll talk about why I think Loot Chests are a better deal, more flexible, and have more long-term benefits than buying Rebellion cards directly in this blog. I hope it will help you make your own decision.

If I am not wrong, then Loot chests are more valuable from various perspectives. Sometimes, the contents of the loot chest make you feel empty, but most of the time, I have gotten better results. If you prefer buying rebellion reward cards from the market, then this post is not for you, already you are a super-rich guy, and I think that is not a good way to go upward in the game. So, I am focusing on the 99.99% of players who want better deals from the Glint Shop, where we spend our earned glint tokens for various assets. We have two options for getting the reward cards: the direct buy option with different values for different rarities with both normal and gold foiled ones, and we can also get these cards from the loot chests. Before going forward, I want to share my last end-of-season reward through the loot chests, and it will make you decide which is a better option at a glance before the in details discussion.

There are different kinds of Loot Chests in the Glint Shop: Minor, Major, and Ultimate, each with a different set of prizes containing cards, merits, potions, and energy. The higher the level of the loot chests, you can pull a large number of cards with a higher possibility of higher rarity, more merits, potions and energy. Cards are always useful to build your decks, and Potions can help you get more rare cards or gold-foiled cards when you open Loot Chests, which makes the things you buy even more valuable. The merits are also very important to buy Gladius card packs, and with energy, you can play more battles without waiting to refill your energy level.

There is a way of pulling only one card with a fixed rarity directly, and there are two price levels: a cheaper will give you the normal foil cards most of the time with a tiny possibility of having a gold card and an expensive option that will give you the chance to pull a gold foiled card with 100% possibility. The card could be a Common, a Rare, an Epic, or a Legendary with different price levels, such as gold foiled legendary will cost you 600000 Glint tokens. So, you can imagine the price level here. But buying Loot Chests makes things more exciting and surprising.

Let’s talk about why I prefer loot chests in detail. Most people want to buy a Legendary or an Epic card because they can make the battle performance a lot better, give better rewards, and let you acquire more SPS and Glint tokens at higher ranks with more wins. But there is a problem when it comes to the price, as it costs a lot to buy a Legendary or Epic card straight from the shop, especially for small players like me, as I could manage hardly 70-80K glint tokens each season. The price of the Legendary card is 35000 glint tokens, and for Epic, one costs 7500 glint tokens for the normal foils only! Only the common and rare cards can be okay with this price point.

So, if I want to buy some gold foil, what will happen to me? It will take 10 seasons for me to buy a gold-foiled legendary. Though it can be worth it for some great players, most of the players can not afford it. Gold foiled cards are not only stronger in the fight, but they also provide you with an extra portion of the rewards, which makes them a great purchase point at so high prices in the market. But in the case of loot chests, you can use the Alchemy Potion to increase the possibility of gold foil cards and the Legendary Potion to increase the possibility of getting legendary cards from the loot chests. This choice is that you might get Gold Foil cards from Loot Chests. So, loot chests are the only way to get more legendary and gold-foiled cards from the glint shop.

There is another important reason for me to like Loot Chests as they offer other rewards such as merits and potions. As an example, in Splinterlands, merits are a form of cash that is very important for buying gladiator packs from the guild shop. You can see I have gotten around 8000 merits and opened 4 Gladius packs, and I have pulled several epic cards, which are so powerful cards to make my decks stronger. Most of the time, Loot Chests gives you a mix of these prizes, giving you more ways to improve your gaming experience.

If you want to get the most out of your Glint token rewards, Loot Chests is a much better option than buying cards directly. However, the Loot Chest might give you a mix of prizes that are more useful in the long run. With the extra bonuses, like Merits and Potions, you can improve your gaming strategy.

In conclusion, I want to say that buying a high-value card straight might seem like a good idea in the short term, but Loot Chests might be better in the long-term perspective. As you open more Loot boxes, you'll have more chances to get different kinds of cards and other rewards. With each Loot Chest you buy, your chances of getting rare or powerful cards, like Legendary or Gold Foil cards, rise over time. You might also find that the Merits and Potions you earn help you in future. You can improve your deck in many different ways with these rewards from Loot Chests.
