Hello friends and members of Olio di Balena community!
Today is Thursday, May 9, and for 35 Thursdays to date I have a nice and recurring posting task here on Hive: The Olio di Balena-Inleo Weekend Threading Contest.
When Inleo proposed me to run this initiative within the Olio di BalenaI immediately accepted and I must say that I have enjoyed running this initiative and I hope the participants of this contest have enjoyed it as well.
With this post this initiative based on community threads officially ends.
Inleo has decided to focus its energies on the Monthly Prompts initiative which is very similar to this initiative but has a daily instead of weekly participation option: May Inleo - Monthly Prompts
Therefore, in this post there will not be a new theme but only a list of the threads that participated in the previous contest and the announcement of the winners.
So I would like to thank all the participants in previous contests that I have had the pleasure of knowing and appreciating through their threads!
Contest Prizes
Interaction Prizes: 10 LEO for each of the authors of the 5 Threads that receive the most comments (prizes offered by Inleo)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the contest will have 4 or fewer entries, LEO prizes will not be awarded. Instead, prizes in HBD will always be awarded.Prizes awarded by drawing: 3 Threads will be chosen randomly and win 1 HBD each (prizes offered by the Olio di Balena community)
The best threads may also have a chance to be voted by Inleo
Consolation Prize: For every 5 participants I will add a prize of 1 LEO that I will award by drawing to participants who did not receive one of the previous two prizes..
Important Note: max 1 prize per participant!
In each contest I will award the most valuable prize between 10 LEOs and 1 HBD first. Those who received the highest value prize will be excluded from awarding the other prizes.
More winners = more incentive and fun for participants!
The Participants and the Announcement of the Winners of the 35th edition of the Weekend Contest (May 2, 2024 - May 6, 2024)
In contest number 35 there were 17 participants.
For the last contest, I decided not to give a specific theme and left it completely up to the participants to choose a theme with the only constraint being that they must post some text and at least one photo/image in the contest entry thread.

Now comes the most pleasant moment of the weekend threading contest: awarding prizes to participants!
According to the prize awarding mechanism that is active starting with contest number 30 I will award the most valuable prizes first through a value comparison between 10 LEO and 1 HBD.
Today, May 9, 2024:
- 10 LEO = 2.57 SWAP.HIVE = $0.808 (highest bid value su Hive Engine)
- 1 HBD = 3.25 HIVE = $1.02 (Hive internal market)
So I first proceed to assign the 3 prizes of 1 HBD each.
Let's now find out the 3 lucky winners who win 1 HBD each offered by the Olio di Balena community.

The third and final winner drawn is @babyl: 1 HBD

For prizes in LEO tokens the interaction = the number of comments received is important.
In the list below you can see the contest participants who received the most comments sorted by the number of comments received (I excluded only the 3 participants who won the prize in HBD).

Oggi è giovedì 9 maggio e per 35 giovedì fino ad oggi ho avuto un piacevole e ricorrente impegno di pubblicazione qui su Hive: L'Olio di Balena-Inleo Weekend Threading Contest.
Quando Inleo mi ha proposto di gestire questa iniziativa all'interno della comunità di Olio di Balena ho immediatamente accettato e devo dire che mi sono divertito a portare avanti questa iniziativa e spero che si siano divertiti anche i partecipanti di questo contest.
Con questo post termina ufficialmente questa iniziativa basata sui community threads.
Inleo ha deciso di focalizzare le energie sull'iniziativa Monthly Prompts che è molto simile a questa iniziativa ma ha una possibilità di partecipazione giornaliera invece che settimanale: May Inleo - Monthly Prompts
Per questo motivo in questo post non ci sarà un nuovo tema ma solo l'elenco dei threads che hanno partecipato al precedente contest e l'annuncio dei vincitori.
Ringrazio quindi tutti i partecipanti ai precedenti contest che ho avuto modo di conoscere e apprezzare tramite i loro threads!
I Premi del Mini Contest
Premio Interazione: 10 LEO per ognuno degli autori dei 5 Threads che ricevono il maggior numero di commenti (premi offerti da Inleo)
NOTA IMPORTANTE: Se il contest avrà un numero di partecipazioni uguale o inferiore a 4, i premi in LEO non saranno assegnati. Verranno invece sempre assegnati i premi in HBD.Premio assegnato per estrazione: 3 Threads saranno scelti in modo casuale e vinceranno 1 HBD ognuno (premi offerti dalla comunità di Olio di Balena)
I thread più belli potrebbero avere anche una chance di essere votati da Inleo
Premio di consolazione: Per ogni 5 partecipanti aggiungerò un premio di 1 LEO che assegnerò tramite estrazione ai partecipanti che non hanno ricevuto uno dei due precedenti premi.

Adesso è arrivato il momento più piacevole del weekend threading contest: assegnare i premi ai partecipanti!
In base al meccanismo di assegnazione dei premi che è attivo a partire dal contest numero 30 assegnerò prima i premi di maggior valore tramite un confronto di valore tra 10 LEO e 1 HBD.
