Opening Chaos Legion Packs with Luck in Splinterlands

When I started playing Splinterlands it was around the time that the Chaos Legion edition had just been released, but at that time the packs were a bit expensive for my pocket and I didn't think it was worth buying a few since I would need a lot of cards to play in the higher leagues, so I just rented cards to play in ranked battles since the cost was much lower.

After a few years I came back to the game and I realized that the price of the Chaos Legion pack is very cheap nowadays so I decided to satisfy the desire I had back then by opening some Chaos Legion today.

I went to the Hive Engine and bought 5 Chaos Legion packs for the price of 1.27 Swap.Hive each. This is a small amount of packs and the reason I chose the Chaos Legion packs is because I intend to build a card collection in the game and the Chaos Legion edition is perfect for me to start with since the price of the cards is low, so I decided to buy Chaos Legion to satisfy my desire to open packs that I couldn't get in the past and to get some cards to start my collection.

Although opening packs is fun, my real strategy for building a Chaos Legion card collection is to buy the cards directly from the market because they are very cheap and I don't like to depend on luck, but every now and then I will open some packs to test my luck and also because it is the most fun method of getting cards in the game because you never know when you will get a Gold Foil legendary card for your collection.

After buying the packs I transfer them to my account and they are ready to be opened. Luckily I managed to get some Alchemy potions and Legendary potions by opening Loot Chests, so I have enough to use in the 5 packs and increase my chances of getting Legendary cards and Gold Foils cards.

Each Chaos Legion pack gives you 5 cards, with a minimum of 1 card guaranteed to be Rare or higher.

The feeling of opening packs is really good and it gets even better when you see the card start to shake and then that incredible and valuable Legendary card appears.

In these packs I can consider myself lucky because I get 2 Legendary cards and the value of just 1 of them is already enough to pay for the 5 packs, so I'm very happy that today I decided to open packs. In addition to the Legendary cards I also got 2 Epic cards and 2 Rare Summoners.

The total value of the 5 packs is $2.1 and the amount I got from opening the 5 packs was $3.47, so I managed to make a profit by opening these packs but my intention is not to sell these cards but to increase my Chaos Legion collection and they will be very useful for my collection, especially the legendary summoner Quix the Devious since I use him a lot in my battles.

My goal is to build a collection of Chaos Legion cards at the maximum level and it will probably take me a while to achieve this since I will need to make a good investment to get all the cards at the maximum level, so I will use my earnings from Guild Brawls, Ranked Battles and from my posts on the Hive to gradually build my collection and no longer need to rent cards.

I hope to achieve this goal in the next few months and to help even more I will also participate in tournaments to try to get extra SPS and increase my income to build my collection of Chaos Legion cards.
