My Hive Journey in last 7 days

I hope all of you are doing well in life and also celebrating an amazing weekend with your family and friends. Another week has passed since I posted my previous financial growth on Hive chain and shared my progress update, so it’s time for a fresh look in my stats again and reevaluate my journey on the Hive blockchain. Now, whether you are an old dog on this blockchain or just joined Hive and kickstarting your journey into this one-of-a-kind crypto platform, I think tracking your growth time to time and staying focused on your goals are the two main pillars of financial stability and will always you taking smart moves. In my years of experience, Hive has taught me that ok this platform, being consistent and sharing valuable content here can really have the potential to empower you. Every step you take no matter how small or big, can lead your way only forward and hopefully attract steady financial progress over time. So in this post, I will be sharing my weekly growth on Hive chain again while breaking down my weekly performance across three key areas - Hive Power (HP), Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) and Leo Power (LP) where I will share my current numbers and will also discuss how much I have gained since last week in detail. Why Hive Is So Special?

I have interacted or read about with at least a dozens of blockchain, but I have never seen anything lime Hive before or after. Hive is not just another crypto token on market that focuses on selling false promises for quick gains dump on its investors or a scam project. It is a true dectralised blockchain ecosystem that is building value out of its users can also building a chain of information and knowledge while empowering its authors for their meaningful contribution. Hive is seamlessly combining web3 social media, blockchain gaming and Decentralised finance (DeFi) under one box, with the added benefits no else chain can match - like decentralization funding, witnesses vote and fee-less transactions. If we take a peek at the current market, Hive is still riding the bull season well, as it has recently touched a high of $0.65 and currently being traded around $0.43 per unit.

Hive Power (HP)

Anyone who is just a new soul on this blockchain and grasping all the information, it may be exhausting to learn all about Hive and how it works under 1 day or week, so let me give a simple definition to make you understand it easily. Hive Power (HP) represents the staked form of Hive tokens, which are locked in your Hive on-chain wallet. Staking HP helps you earn curation rewards by earning you 50% of your every vote’s USD value back in form of Hive tokens. Not only rewards, but staking more HP also gives you influence in community decisions like voting for DHF Proposals and Witness voting. So clearly, the more Hive Power you possess, the greater your rewards and influence on the platform.

My HP Progress

Last week when I checked, my total no of HP was sitting at 14,667.734, I made some power downs lately to get some liquid Hive tokens and have converted them into HBD since Hive’s price had surged well. Anyway, I have stopped powering down my Hive and now am fully focused on increasing my HP gradually again. Now looking at my Hive Power, my current Hive Power now sits at a total of 14,838.867 HP. This marks an awesome increase of 171.133 Hive Power compared to last week.

Hive Backed Dollars (HBD)

If you don’t know, Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) is the official stablecoin of the Hive blockchain, which is softly pegged to the US dollar value. Apart from holding value being a stablecoin, HBD is also popular and widely used as an firm of investment for its unbeatable 15% annual interest rate for savings. This feature is making it an excellent tool for years now when it comes down to low-risk growth. Now for me, I treat my HBD savings like my life’s digital savings account, keep all my Savings balance here and enjoy far better interest rates than what banks could offer me.

My HBD Progress

As I checked last week, my HBD balance was sitting at 4,171.344. But since I was transferring all my HBD author rewards to savings as well, my total HBD balance has grown to a total of 4,233.729 HBD. So, that’s a eye catchy increase of 62.385 HBD in just one week! Moreover, I have also earned 29.3 HBD from interest by simply keeping my HBD in the savings wallet. This consistent growth helping me to move one step closer to my long-term goal of reaching 10,000 HBD.

Leo Power (LP)

Last but not least, Leo Power (LP) is the staked form of Leo token, which is the only native token of Inleo project. Inleo is one of the largest active Web3 social media built on the decentralized Hive Hive blockchain where users can engage with both long-form blogs and short-form threads. Staking Leo tokens not only enables you to earn curation rewards in Leo for voting contents published via inleo platform, but you also start building an influence with your Leo stake, similar to Hive Power within the Hive ecosystem. Great news for content creators as you can also earn Leo tokens for free as author rewards by posting blogs and engaging in their short-form threads section.

My Leo Power (LP) Progress

During the beginning of 2025, I had a total of 12,165 LP in my account. Through active posting and curation, I am Earning stable earnings little Leo amounts since my participation in the latest Leo Power-Up Day (LPUD). Gladly, I have earned an additional 98.56 Leo since the last LPUD, bringing my total Leo balance to 12,263.56 LP.

As usual, I plan to continue saving all my Leo tokens and stake them again in the upcoming LPUDs. Now, all these increments may seem small, but for me every fraction of Leo counts, especially as I am working toward a larger milestone. My main long-term goal with Leo is to reach 15,000 LP one day and earn the prestigious “Lion” status badge, which is a significant achievement in the Leo community.
