Hello Splinterlands Summoners! Recently, I observed that some of my rentals were being cancelled. I guess with the change in minimum rental to 1 DEC, rental prices of cards have gone up. Frustrated, I went to the market to look for some cards that I can buy. Not expecting any, I was surprised to find some maxed out cards whose prices are close to their burn value! Here are the cards that I bought.

Uriel the Purifier (Legendary)

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this one. Uriel is one of my most used card and I've written several posts about how I use him in battle together with Adelaide Brightwing. I think he is an under-rated card for the kit he brings. He is a very beefy tank that can fly. On top of that, he can wreck the enemy tank with one hit because of his high damage potential. I bought him for only 6,350 DEC while his burn value is 5,775. I got a great deal and I was emboldened so I checked the rest of the market.

Uraeus (Epic)

Uraeus is another card that can easily find a slot in battle. A neutral, three mana card that has the Sneak and Poison abilities. He can be used in any splinter and easy to slot in because of his low mana. His damage potential is great too and can do serious damage to the enemy backline. I bought him for 4,903 DEC while his burn value is 4,830. This day is suddenly getting good.

Dhampir Infiltrator (Rare)

The Dhampir Infiltrator is a 4 mana dragon splinter. At maxed level she does two melee damage, has four speed and four health. She is packed with abilities having four at maxed level. She has the Sneak and Double Strike abilities which are sure to wreck the enemy back line. She also has Cripple and Affliction which are counters to teams with Triage ability units. She is the best deal that I got spending only 2,455 DEC against her burn value of 2,415! That's only 40 DEC above her burn value.

Final Thoughts

I'm not sure what's happening, I've never dreamed of getting these cards this cheap. Maybe people are selling cards in anticipation of the new set, Conclave Arcana or it could be due to the rising value of DEC coming close to peg but I'll continue to be looking at deals on the days to come.
