Hello Hive gamers! Stakehouse Den is the second game of the Arcade Colony eco-system after Moon Karts. Arcade Colony is a project by Splinterlands affiliate, Invennium Corp., headed by Splinterlands co-founder, @aggroed. It's a casino themed game where you bet soulbound tokens called Hotsauce and earn Colony, the game's governance token. The game as well as all Arcade Colony games will be ported to mobile. In preparation, a new interface has been added.

Daily Log In Rewards

I logged in to the game today and was greeted by the new log in rewards. This feature is common to mobile games wherein users receive daily rewards for logging in. In this case, the rewards are in the form of Hotsauce tokens that you can use to bet on the games.

Warning: Don't claim yet until you have claimed Hotsauce from staking!

If you are playing the game and have staked cards that earns Hotsauce, claim those first. There seems to be a bug at the moment that loses Hotsauce from staking when you claim daily rewards.

Landing Page

The re-tooled landing page. It's now more user friendly. You can now access your tokens, packs, cards and refrigerator from the left side. To the upper right, you can see the daily rewards claimed.

If you remember, the landing page looked like this:

Before, you have to click on the menu on the upper right to access cards, packs and refrigerator.

Fridge

I went to the Refrigerator or shortened to Fridge to collect some Hotsauce from staking cards but there was none. I'm confused since I haven't collected yet. So I went to the discord to find out what's going on. It seems the same thing happened to other users and the cause is from claiming daily rewards. So collect your staking rewards first before claiming your daily rewards until this issue is fixed.

Final Thoughts

Bugs aside, Arcade Colony is heading in the right direction by porting into mobile. It will surely invite new users to the game and ultimately benefit the Hive blockchain as well. This was how I got into Hive. I played Splinterlands without knowing about Hive but now I'm an active user and content creator writing about #play2earn games.
