My Splinterlands End-of-Season Activity: Playing and Renting
On Splinterlands, there are several game modes to choose from.
My favorite game mode is Ranked Play, and I particularly enjoy playing in Modern Format and Frontier Format.
In Splinterlands Ranked Play, time is marked by seasons that last approximately 15 days.
Today is January 14, 2026, and in just over 18 hours, the first season of 2026 will end.
This season, I played much less than usual because I had little free time due to many commitments, especially work.
I didn't play any battles for more than six days.
Fortunately, between yesterday and today, I had some free time and, in Modern Format, I got very close to the 100 battles required to receive the end-of-season reward in GLINT.
Even though there are only a few hours left until the end of the season and I have few energy points available, I will try to play as many battles as possible in the Modern Format and Frontier Format before the end of the season.
In particular, it will be even more fun for me to play in the Frontier Format because, starting yesterday, January 13, a new reward mechanism has been added: 4 new Frontier Jackpot cards!
Jackpot cards can be found in the daily rewards claim phase, and the probability of finding a Jackpot card is 1.5% in a single claim.

In the next part of this post, I will share my end-of-season activities, which generally involve:
- checking and managing my incoming and outgoing rentals
- trying to play as many battles as possible to achieve my seasonal goals
Managing incoming and outgoing rentals is an important part of my Modern Format gameplay.
I use the income I earn from renting out my wild cards to rent summoner cards that can be used in the Modern Format.
In fact, in the Modern Format, I can use 461 cards = 13415 BCX, including 35 maximum level cards, but I only own one maximum level summoner: Akane.
For this reason, the last days of each season are important to me because I can choose whether or not to renew the rental of the summoners I used during the current season for the next season.
In the current season, I rented 4 summoners:
- Avina of the Wolf (Max level) - costo: 68.90 DEC/day
- Nomos (Max level) - costo: 39.90 DEC/day
- Underboss Fabino (Max level) - costo: 59.90 DEC/day
- Prunda Undervesch (level 8) - costo: 30.00 DEC/day
Before renewing the rentals, I checked to see if there were any better rental prices, but I couldn't find any.
For this reason, I decided to renew the rentals of the four cards for the next season.
I spent a total of 2980.50 DEC (= 198.70 DEC per day)
My balance between renting out and renting in is practically even, with a very slight positive.
Today, I made some of my other cards that I don't use in battles available for rental.
During the first few days of the next season, I will check again to see if there are any new rental opportunities.
As for my gaming activity today, I completed the three daily missions in the Modern Format and Frontier Format.
I had two unopened Foundation packs, and today I opened five Foundation packs.
I'm happy with the cards I found in the five Foundation packs because I found one legendary card, three epic cards, and two gold cards!
With less than a day left in the season, I need two more battles to reach the prize positions on the Gold Leaderboard in Modern Format.
I'll conclude this post by showing my most recent battles that I played in the Modern Format and Frontier Format.

Su Splinterlands ci sono diverse modalità di gioco tra cui scegliere.
La mia modalità di gioco preferita è il Ranked Play e in particolare mi piace giocare nel Modern Format e nel Frontier Format.
Nel Ranked Play di Splinterlands il tempo è scandito dalle stagioni che hanno una durata di circa 15 giorni.
Oggi è il 14 gennaio 2026 e tra poco più di 18 ore terminerà la prima stagione del 2026.
In questa stagione ho giocato molto meno rispetto al mio solito perchè ho avuto poco tempo libero a causa di tanti impegni soprattutto lavorativi.
Per più di sei giorni non ho giocato battaglie.
Fortunatamente tra ieri e oggi ho avuto un pò di tempo libero e, nel Modern Format, mi sono avvicinato molto al numero di 100 battaglie che è il requisito minimo per ricevere la ricompensa di fine stagione in GLINT.
Anche se mancano poche ore alla fine della stagione e anche se ho pochi punti energia disponibili cercherò di giocare il maggior numero di battaglie nel Modern Format e nel Frontier Format prima della fine della stagione.
In particolare sarà ancora più divertente per me giocare nel Frontier Format perchè a partire da ieri, 13 gennaio, è stato aggiunto un nuovo meccanismo di ricompensa: 4 nuove Frontier Jackpot cards!
Le Jackpot cards possono essere trovate nella fase di claim delle ricompense giornaliere e la probabilità di trovare una Jackpot card è del 1.5% in un singolo claim.

Nella prossima parte di questo post condivido la mia attività di fine stagione nella quale generalmente:
- controllo e gestisco la mia attività di noleggio in entrata e in uscita
- cerco di giocare il maggior numero di battaglie per raggiungere i miei obiettivi stagionali
La gestione dei noleggi in entrata ed in uscita è una parte importante delle mia attività di gioco nel Modern Format.
Utilizzo il guadagno che ottengo dal noleggio delle mie wild cards per noleggiare carte di tipo evocatore utilizzabili nel Modern Format.
Infatti nel Modern Format posso utilizzare 461 carte = 13415 BCX tra cui 35 carte di massimo livello ma ho solo un evocatore di massimo livello di mia proprietà: Akane.
Per questo motivo gli ultimi giorni di ogni stagione sono importanti per me perchè posso scegliere se rinnovare il noleggio degli evocatori che ho utilizzato durante la stagione in corso anche per la stagione successiva oppure no.
Nella stagione in corso ho noleggiato 4 evocatori:

Prima di rinnovare i noleggi ho controllato se c'erano prezzi di noleggio migliori ma non li ho trovati.
Per questo motivo ho scelto di rinnovare i noleggi delle quattro carte per la prossima stagione.
Ho speso in totale 2980.50 DEC (= 198.70 DEC al giorno)
Il mio bilancio tra renting out e renting in è praticamente in pareggio con un leggerissimo positivo.
Oggi ho messo disponibili per il noleggio altre mie carte che non uso nelle battaglie.
Durante i primi giorni della prossima stagione controllerò di nuovo se ci saranno nuove occasioni di noleggio.
Per quanto riguarda la mia attività di gioco oggi ho completato le tre missioni giornaliere nel Modern Format e nel Frontier Format.
Avevo due Foundation packs non aperti e oggi ho aperto 5 Foundation packs.
Sono soddisfatto delle carte che ho trovato nei 5 Foundation packs perchè ho trovato 1 carta leggendaria, tre carte epiche e due carte gold!
Quando manca meno di un giorno alla fine della stagione mi mancano due battaglie per entrare nelle posizioni premiate della Gold Leaderboard nel Modern Format.

Great job! I know how life's time commitments can get in the way of playing at times. Real life comes first. I've been mainly playing Frontier mode and haven't pulled a Jackpot card yet, but it's early! I have been playing Modern as well in Bronze mainly using Foundation cards and am holding my own in Bronze 1. The glints will help will pick up some more rewards cards from Conclave to help me out.
