The year 2026 has just begun, and on Splinterlands, just under two days ago, the last season of 2025 came to an end.
After the end of a season, I like to share:
- my results achieved in the last season,
- my progress in upgrading Reward cards,
- my new goals for the new season (the one currently underway)
My results in the 24th season of 2025
In the last season of 2025, I played in my two favorite Ranked Play formats:
- Modern Format
- Frontier Format
In Modern Format, I finished the season in 91st place on the Diamond Leaderboard with a rating = 2700, 179 battles played, and a win rate = 52.51%.
Compared to the previous season, I played far fewer battles because the Christmas holidays are the time of year when I like to spend most of my free time with my family, especially with my 12-year-old daughter Chiara.
I played far fewer battles than in the previous season, but I improved my win rate (52.51% vs. 47.58%) and my final rating score, although I remained in Gold I league without managing to advance to Diamond III league.

Having finished the season in Gold I league, I started the new season in Gold III league
Thanks to the 94 battles won in the Modern Format, I earned 415.59 SPS (previous season: 765.59 SPS).
My seasonal balance between renting out and renting in was positive: +1228.14 DEC
In Frontier Format, I finished the season in the Gold I league, ranked 294th in the Gold Leaderboard with a rating = 3240.
Also in the Frontier Format, I played many fewer battles than in the previous season, but the two very positive signs are that I improved my rating and my seasonal win rate.
These results give me hope for the next seasons.

In Frontier Format, my seasonal goal was to improve my seasonal results (rating and win rate): goal achieved!
My progress in upgrading Reward cards
On October 21, the new Reward Cards (Conclave Arcana) were released.
As for the Rarity Draws that can be purchased with Glints, I chose to follow the same strategy I used for the Rebellion Reward cards:
- Each season, I purchase rarity draws starting with Common Draws.
- When I complete batch 1, I move on to purchasing rarity draws of higher rarity.
Having played far fewer battles than in the previous season, the amount of GLINT I accumulated during the recently concluded season has also decreased.
With 85,158 GLINT available, I used 84,900 GLINT to purchase 283 Common Draws.

I didn't find any Gold Foil cards, even though based on the odds (0.5% per card) I should have found at least one.
It doesn't matter because luck and bad luck generally balance out in the long run, and I hope to be lucky in the future ;)
Thanks to the 283 cards I found in the 283 common draws, I was able to upgrade 4 common reward cards from the Conclave Arcana set out of a total of 12 cards.
I upgraded:
Magmaforged: level 6 -> level 7
Stonebind Matron: level 6 -> level 7
Grim Bonewhip: level 6 -> level 7
****Ironwing Juggernaut: level 6 -> level 7
Now I have all the common reward cards at level 7, and the next step is to get them all to level 8.
During the last season of 2025, I also made progress in upgrading rare cards because I increased the level of Withered Old Sage, Surgehammer, Torrent Sniper, Mindless Thrall, and Dragonfang Lancer.
Among the common reward cards, I often used Ironwing Juggernaut (level 6) because it has a low mana cost (3 mana), can attack from any position, and has a good number of armor and health points in relation to its mana cost.
My strategy and goals for the new season
In the last season, I played far fewer battles than my average during other seasons, but my results were positive because I improved my rating and win rate in both formats I play (Modern Format and Frontier Format).
My new seasonal goals are:
- to finish the season in the Diamond III league in the Modern Format
- to improve my game results (rating and win rate) in the Frontier Format
To try to advance in the Diamond III league of the Modern Format:
- I have confirmed the rental of the summoners I used in the previous season: Level 8 Underboss Fabino, Level 8 Nomos, and Level 8 Prunda Undervesch.
This season, I rented one more maximum-level summoner than in the last season of 2025: Avina of the Wolf.
In the first season of 2026 in the Modern Format, I will have 4 top-level summoners at my disposal: Akane (owned by me) + Underboss Fabino, Nomos and Avina of the Wolf (summoners on loan).
The decision to rent an additional top-level summoner seems to have already had positive effects, because in the current season, out of 21 battles played, I have won 16 battles with a win rate of 76.19%.
Obviously, it's still too early to make any assessments because the new season has only just begun, but I hope to improve my game results compared to last season.

- i miei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Reward,
- i mie nuovi obiettivi per la nuova stagione (quella attualmente in corso)
I miei risultati nella 24ª stagione del 2025
Nell'ultima stagione del 2025 ho giocato nei miei due formati preferiti del Ranked Play:
- nel Modern Format
- nel Frontier Format
Nel Modern Format ho concluso la stagione al 91° posto nella Diamond Leaderboard con un punteggio di rating = 2700, 179 battaglie giocate e un win rate = 52.51%.
Rispetto alla stagione precedente ho giocato molte battaglie in meno perchè le festività natalizie sono il periodo dell'anno in cui mi piace passare la maggior parte del mio tempo libero con la mia famiglia e soprattutto con mia figlia Chiara che ha 12 anni.
Ho giocato molte battaglie in meno rispetto alla stagione precedente ma ho migliorato il mio win rate (52.51% vs 47.58%) e ho anche migliorato il mio punteggio di rating finale ma mi sono fermato in lega Gold I senza riuscire ad avanzare nella lega Diamond III.

Avendo terminato la stagione nella lega Gold I ho iniziato la nuova stagione nella lega Gold III
Grazie alle 94 battaglie vinte nel Modern Format ho guadagnato 415.59 SPS (stagione precedente: 765.59 SPS).

Nel Frontier Format il mio obiettivo stagionale era di migliorare i risultati stagionali (rating e win rate): obiettivo non raggiunto!
I miei progressi nel potenziamento delle carte Reward
Il 21 ottobre c'è stato il rilascio delle nuove Reward Cards (Conclave Arcana).
Per quanto riguarda i Rarity Draws acquistabili tramite i Glint ho scelto di seguire la stessa strategia che ho seguito per le Rebellion Reward cards:
- in ogni stagione acquisto i rarity draws partendo dai Common Draws
- quando completo il batch 1 passo all'acquisto dei rarity draws di rarità maggiore.
Avendo giocato molte meno battaglie rispetto alla stagione precedente anche il quantitativo di GLINT che ho accumulato durante la stagione da poco conclusa è diminuito.
Con 85158 GLINT a disposizione ho utilizzato:
- 84900 GLINT per acquistare 283 Common Draw.

Non ho trovato carte Gold Foil anche se in base alle probabilità (0.5% per carta) ne avrei dovuta trovare almeno una.
Non fa niente perchè generalmente la fortuna e la sfortuna si compensano nel lungo periodo e spero di essere fortunato in futuro ;)
Grazie alle 283 carte che ho trovato nei 283 common draws ho potuto fare l'upgrade di 4 carte reward comuni del set Conclave Arcana su 12 carte in totale.
Ho fatto l'upgrade di:
Magmaforged: level 6 -> level 7
Stonebind Matron: level 6 -> level 7
Grim Bonewhip: level 6 -> level 7
Ironwing Juggernaut: level 6 -> level 7
Adesso ho tutte le carte reward di tipo comune al settimo livello e il prossimo step è riuscire a portarle tutte all'ottavo livello.
Durante l'ultima stagione del 2025 ho fatto anche dei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte di tipo raro perchè ho aumentato il livello di Withered Old Sage, Surgehammer, Torrent Sniper, Mindless Thrall e Dragonfang Lancer.
Tra le carte reward di tipo comune ho usato spesso Ironwing Juggernaut di livello 6 perchè ha un costo in mana basso (3 mana), può attaccare da ogni posizione, ha un buon numero di punti armatura e di punti vita in rapporto al suo costo in mana.
La mia strategia e i miei obiettivi per la nuova stagione
Nell'ultima stagione conclusa ho giocato molte meno battaglie rispetto alla media di battaglie che ho giocato durante le altre stagioni ma i miei risultati sono stati positivi perchè ho migliorato il mio rating e il mio win rate in entrambi i formati in cui gioco (Modern Format e Frontier Format).
I miei nuovi obiettivi stagionali sono:
- terminare la stagione nella lega Diamond III nel Modern Format
- migliorare i risultati di gioco (rating e win rate) nel Frontier Format
Per provare ad avanzare nella lega Diamond III del Modern Format:
- ho confermato il noleggio degli evocatori che ho utilizzato nella precedente stagione: Underboss Fabino di livello 8, Nomos di livello 8 e Prunda Undervesch di livello 8.
In questa stagione ho noleggiato un evocatore di massimo massimo livello in più rispetto all'ultima stagione del 2025: Avina of the Wolf.
Nella prima stagione del 2026 nel Modern Format avrò a disposizione 4 evocatori di massimo livello: Akane (di mia proprietà) + Underboss Fabino, Nomos e Avina of the Wolf (evocatori presi in noleggio)
La scelta di aver noleggiato un evocatore di massimo livello in più sembra aver portato già degli effetti positivi perchè nella stagione in corso su 21 battaglie giocate ho vinto 16 battaglie con un win rate del 76.19%.
Ovviamente è ancora presto per fare valutazioni perchè la nuova stagione è iniziata da poco ma spero di riuscere a migliorare i miei risultati di gioco rispetto alla precedente stagione.

Nicely done! That's a great rank in Modern and you got some great rewards. You also moved up in Frontier, good job! Keep up the strong effort, it's not easy to compete in Modern!
That bonus ranking Glint really does add up. I think I have only gotten that once before. It's nice to see the progress on the common cards, but I tend to think that its better to focus on rare or epic cards because they are less likely to come from the advancement chests.
