I am an active player in several Hive based games including all the games on the Arcade Colony platform.

Today after more than a year since my last post on Genesis League Goals I am back to share my gaming activity and progress on this football themed game which has not been as successful as expected before its launch but is still an active and playable game and in a landscape where 90% of blockchain based games have disappeared is definitely a positive aspect.

In this long interval of time, many things have changed on Genesis League Goals.

In June 2024, the partnership with the Msl players association was active and the cards had the name and picture of real soccer players.

In the next image you can see my Hiventus formation in June 2024.

Today, 29 August 2025, the partnership with the Msl players association has ended and the players have the same statistics as before but are no longer anchored to the real players because they have different names and images.

The player vs. player game mode that was initially only playable in manual mode became over time relatively boring to play for a good portion of the players whose feedbacks were listened to by the development team who introduced the Auto Play feature.

I use the auto-play mode and for a long time played in passive mode until 4 August 2025, when the GLS Solo Tournament started.

I had never played a tournament before 4 August and I am glad I did because I enjoyed playing manually against other players and also received a prize in GLX tokens and GMLSPA card packs.

Registration, match results and ranking were managed via https://challonge.com/it/8xqnmr2c.

I finished the tournament in sixth place out of 13 players.

I received this prize:

GMLSPA tokens are the tokenized version of the game's card packs.

The GMLSPA tokens have a very low market value (Highest Bid) and for this reason I preferred to open the packs I received as prizes with the aim/hope of finding NFTs useful to increase the level of the player cards I use in my two teams.

To open the GMLSPA I went to the COLLECTION->PACKS section and clicked on Open.

I have chosen not to buy Scout Passes because I don't want to invest any more of my liquidity on Genesis League Goals for the time being, because I will only return to invest if there are new and interesting updates.

In the next pictures you can see the 350 NFTs I found in the GMLSPA card packs.

In the next days I will take a closer look at my entire card collection to see if I can increase the star level of the cards I use in the game.

The first cards to upgrade are always the coach cards because the star level of the coach cards defines the cap in XP points that a player card can have.

Currently my two teams have coaches of star level = 4 and player cards of level 3-42.
I would like to have cards with a star level of at least 5 points in my two teams.

For regular cards you need 15 cards to combine to reach star level = 5
For gold cards you need 8 cards to combine to reach star level = 5.

For example to upgrade my trainer Drew Dribbles I need three more star level = 1 cards to go from star level 4 to star level 5 because I have a total of 12 BCX.

To achieve my upgrades goals, the final result in the tournament I am currently participating in - the GLS Local Tournament - will be important.

My partial results are not very good, because out of 12 matches played I obtained:

1 win
7 draws
4 defeats

With 10 points I am in 6th place in the partial ranking but I hope to be able to get at least a second win before the end of the tournament.

If I will finish the tournament in 6th place I will win 6K GLX + 60 GMLSPA card packs which is still a good prize.

Tournaments are a lot of fun even if the mechanism is a bit complicated because:

you must first agree with players on Discord on when to play.
then you need to create a challenge on Genesis League Goals and invite the player
after the match you need to post screenshots of the result in the Tournaments channel of the Genesis League Goals discord server.

Oggi dopo più di un anno dal mio ultimo post su Genesis League Goals torno a condividere la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su questo gioco a tema calcistico che non ha avuto il successo previsto prima del suo lancio ma è un gioco ancora attivo e giocabile e in un panorama in cui il 90% dei giochi basati su blockchain è scomparso è sicuramente un aspetto positivo.

Ho pubblicato il mio ultimo post interamente dedicato a Genesis League Goals il 9 giugno 2024.

In questo lungo intervallo di tempo molte cose sono cambiate su Genesis League Goals.

A giugno 2024 era attiva la partnership con il campionato di calcio canadese e le carte avevano il nome e la foto di giocatori reali.

Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere la formazione della mia Hiventus a giugno 2024.

Oggi 29 agosto 2025 la partnership con la Msl players association è terminata e i giocatori hanno le stesse statistiche di prima ma non sono più ancorati ai giocatori reali.

La modalità di gioco player vs player inizialmente giocabile solo in manuale è diventata con il passare del tempo relativamente noiosa da giocare per una buona parte dei giocatori i cui feedbacks sono stati ascoltati dal team di sviluppo che ha introdotto la funzionalità Auto Play.

Io uso la modalità auto-play e per tanto tempo ho giocato in modalità passiva fino al 4 agosto 2025, data in cui è iniziato il GLS Solo Tournament.

Non avevo mai giocato un tornei prima del 4 agosto e sono contento di averlo giocato perchè mi sono divertito a giocare manualmente contro gli altri giocatori e ho anche ricevuto un premio in token GLX e in GMLSPA card packs.

Ho concluso il torneo al sesto posto su 13 giocatori.

I GMLSPA token hanno un valore di mercato (Highest Bid) molto basso e per questo motivo ho preferito aprire i pacchi che ho ricevuto come premio con l'obiettivo/speranza di trovare NFT utili per aumentare il livello delle carte giocatore che uso nei miei due teams.

Per aprire i GMLSPA sono andato nella sezione COLLECTION->PACKS e ho cliccato su Open.

Ho scelto di non acquistare Scout Pass perchè per il momento non voglio investire altra mia liquidità su Genesis League Goals perchè tornerò ad investire solo nel caso in cui ci saranno nuovi e interessanti aggiornamenti.

Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere i 350 NFT che ho trovato nei GMLSPA card packs.

Nei prossimi giorni guarderò con attenzione tutta la mia collezione di carte per vedere se posso aumentare il livello star delle carte che uso nel gioco.

Le prime carte da upgradare sono sempre le carte allenatore perchè il livello star delle carte allenatore definisce il cap in punti XP che può avere una carta giocatore.

Attualmente le mie due squadre hanno allenatori di livello star = 4 e carte giocatori di livello 3-42.
Mi piacerebbe avere nelle mie due squadre carte con un livello star di almeno 5 punti.

Per le carte regular sono necessarie 15 carte da combinare per raggiungere il livello star = 5
Per le carte gold sono necessarie 8 carte da combinare per raggiungere il livello star = 5.

Ad esempio per fare l'upgrade del mio allenatore Drew Dribbles mi servono altre tre carte di livello star = 1 per passare dal livello star 4 al livello star 5 perchè ho in totale 12 BCX.

Per raggiungere i miei obiettivi di upgrades sarà importante il risultato finale nel torneo che è in corso a cui sto partecipando: il GLS Local Tournament.

I miei risultati parziali non sono molto buoni perchè su 12 matches giocati ho ottenuto:

1 sola vittoria
7 pareggi
4 sconfitte

Con 10 punti sono al sesto posto della classifica parziale ma spero di riuscire ad ottenere almeno una seconda vittoria prima della fine del torneo.

Se concluderò i torneo al sesto posto vincerò 6K GLX + 60 GMLSPA card packs che è comunque un buon premio.

I tornei sono molto divertenti anche se il meccanismo è un pò complicato perchè:

è necessario accordarsi prima con i giocatori su Discord sul quando giocare.
poi è necessario creare una challenge su Genesis League Goals e invitare il giocatore
dopo la partita è necessario pubblicare gli screenshots del risultato nel canale Tournaments del server discord di Genesis League Goals.

Peccato per la partnership terminata, ma giustamente non aveva senso continuare a spendere quando il gioco probabilmente produce guadagni pari a zero... se non negativi (quasi sicuramente, immagino).
