Golem Overlord Conquest Mode: My Daily Game Activity and Progress
+ My Road To Break Even Point
Everyone has their own personal preferences, and regarding games, I prefer those:
- that have gameplay in which strategy or skill are important elements
- that have player vs. player game dynamics.
For this reason, even though I am an active player on several Hive-based games, the games I play the most are Splinterlands and Moon Karts.
I play Splinterlands and Moon Karts almost every day, and I regularly post on my Hive blog, where I share my progress and strategies in these two games.
There is also another game that has player vs. player dynamics that I like to play: Golem Overlord Conquest Mode.
In the next GIF, you can see a few seconds of one of my battles in Conquest Mode.
Until a few months ago, Splinterlands, Moon Karts, and Golem Overlord Conquest Mode were the three games I played almost simultaneously.
I opened the three games in three separate windows in my browser and placed each window on a different monitor.
- Then I clicked Battle on Splinterlands
- then I clicked Ranked on Golem Overlord Conquest Mode
- after selecting the formation on Splinterlands and clicking Battle, I started matchmaking on Moon Karts
- once the race on Moon Karts was over, I chose the formation on Golem Overlord Conquest Mode and launched the battle
- then I repeated these steps cyclically.
This way, I was able to be active in all three games and at the same time optimize my limited free time.
Since a few months ago, I play only Splinterlands and Moon Karts in multitasking mode because I have reduced my gaming activity on Golem Overlord.
I have reduced my gaming activity on Golem Overlord because, even though I like the game and it is perfectly playable, it has been somewhat neglected by its developer for several months.
In fact, the creator/developer has other commitments, and improving and promoting his game is not a priority for him at the moment, as documented in this post by @stradaxlaliberta.
The post announcing the release of the Beta version: Golem Overlord Conquest Mode Enters Beta: Massive Updates and New Features!, was the last post published by golem.overloard on Hive (December 23, 2024).
In the hope that the creator/developer of Golem Overlord will return to improve, promote, and create events for his game I continue to play Golem Overlord, albeit less frequently than in the past and only when I have a lot of free time.
Season S25.10-1 is currently underway on Golem Overlord. It started just under two days ago and will end in 13 days and 5 hours.
I started playing today in the current season, and in this post I'm sharing my first game session of the season.
I started the game session in Conquest Mode with:
- 0 battles played
- Rating: 1234
- ANIMA tokens: 89.3
- Position in the seasonal leaderboard: 39

During the game session, I played a total of 14 battles.
Out of 14 battles:
- I won 11 battles
- I lost 3 battles
- I earned 10.09 ANIMA
- I ended the game session with a win rate of 78.57%
My position in the seasonal leaderboard is 28th (rating: 1353), but this is only a partial result because there are still many days left until the end of the current season. Obviously, I will try to improve my current position in the leaderboard.
Based on the current market value (highest bid value) of the ANIMA token, by playing the game session I showed you in this post, I earned 10.09 ANIMA = 0.2028 SWAP.HIVE.
I continue to see a lot of potential in Conquest Mode, but until there are new updates, new improvements, and new events to promote the game, I will sell all my game rewards with the goal of breaking even.
Today, I sold the ANIMA tokens I earned today plus the ANIMA tokens I had in my in-game wallet.
I sold 100.4 ANIMA and received 2.01900480 SWAP.HIVE
In Conquest Mode, I invested 316.24 SWAP.HIVE, which I used mainly to purchase Golems crates.
From the sale of ANIMA tokens, I earned a total of 62.73 SWAP.HIVE
To break even, I still need to earn 253.50 SWAP.HIVE

Per questo motivo anche se sono un giocatore attivo su diversi Hive-based games i giochi a cui gioco di più sono Splinterlands e Moon Karts.
Gioco su Splinterlands e Moon Karts quasi ogni giorno e giocando regolarmente pubblico con una buona frequenza anche dei post sul mio Hive blog in cui condivido i miei progressi e le mie strategie in questi due giochi.
C'è anche un altro gioco che ha dinamiche player vs player e a cui mi piace giocare: Golem Overlord Conquest Mode.
Nella prossima gif puoi vedere qualche secondo di una mia battaglia nel Conquest Mode.
Fino a qualche mese fa Splinterlands, Moon Karts e Golem Overlord Conquest Mode erano i tre giochi che giocavo quasi in simultanea.
Aprivo i tre giochi in tre finestre distinte del mio browser e posizionavo ogni finestra su un monitor diverso.
- Poi cliccavo Battle su Splinterlands
- poi cliccavo Ranked su Golem Overlord Conquest Mode
- dopo aver selezionato la formazione su Splinterlands e cliccato su Battle iniziavo il matchmaking su Moon Karts
- terminata la corsa su Moon Karts sceglievo la formazione su Golem Overlord Conquest Mode e lanciavo la battaglia
- poi ripetevo ciclicamente questi passi.
In questo modo riuscivo ad essere attivo in tutti e tre i giochi e allo stesso tempo riuscivo a ottimizzare il mio poco tempo libero.
Da qualche mese a questa parte gioco in multitasking solo su Splinterlands e su Moon Karts perchè ho ridotto la mia attività di gioco su Golem Overlord.
Ho ridotto la mia attività di gioco su Golem Overlord perchè, anche se il gioco mi piace ed è perfettamente giocabile, sono diversi mesi che è un pò trascurato dal suo sviluppatore.
Infatti il creatore/sviluppatore ha altri impegni e migliorare e promuovere il suo gioco non è una sua priorità al momento come documentato in questo post di @stradaxlaliberta
Il post dell'annuncio del rilascio della versione Beta: Golem Overlord Conquest Mode Enters Beta: Massive Updates and New Features!, è stato l'ultimo post pubblicato da golem.overloard su Hive (23 dicembre 2024).
Nella speranza che il creatore/sviluppatore di Golem Overlord ritorni a migliorare, promuovere e creare eventi per il suo gioco io continuo a giocare su Golem Overlord anche se con meno frequenza rispetto al passato e solo quando ho molto tempo libero.
Su Golem Overlord è in corso la stagione S25.10-1 che è iniziata da poco meno di due giorni e terminerà tra 13 giorni e 5 ore.

Nella sessione di gioco ho giocato in totale 14 battaglie.
Su 14 battaglie:
- ho vinto 11 battaglie

- ho guadagnato 10.09 ANIMA
- ho concluso la sessione di gioco con un win rate = 78.57%
La mia posizione nella leaderboard stagionale è il 28° posto (rating: 1353) ma questo è un risultato parziale perchè mancano ancora molti giorni alla fine della stagione in corso ma ovviamente cercherò di migliorare la mia attuale posizione nella leaderboard.
In base al valore attuale di mercato (highest bid value) del token ANIMA giocando la sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato in questo post ho guadagnato 10.09 ANIMA = 0.2028 SWAP.HIVE.
Continuo a vedere molto potenziale nel Conquest Mode ma fino a quando non ci saranno nuovi aggiornamenti, nuovi miglioramenti e nuovi eventi per promuovere il gioco venderò tutte le mie ricompense di gioco con l'obiettivo di raggiungere il punto di pareggio.
Oggi ho venduto i token ANIMA che ho guadagnato oggi più i token ANIMA che avevo nel mio in-game wallet.
Ho venduto 100.4 ANIMA e ho ricevuto 2.01900480 SWAP.HIVE
Nel Conquest Mode ho investito 316.24 SWAP.HIVE che ho utilizzato principalmente per acquistare i Golems crates.
Dalla vendita dei token ANIMA ho guadagnato in totale 62.73 SWAP.HIVE
Per raggiungere il punto di pareggio devo guadagnare ancora 253.50 SWAP.HIVE

I love that you explain step by step, I learn a lot that way.
Ouch, the crates seem to have set you back quite a bit. I remember funding my crates with the SHARDS that I sold, and I didn't buy more than what I got. Good luck on conquest mode.
Buying them gave me a boost in the game, but when I did so, I didn't imagine that the developer would then neglect his game.
Anyway, I hope the developer reconsiders because I still think that Conquest mode, with a little more promotion, could still have the potential to attract new players.
Good luck on your quest to break even, I hope you're able to get there! You probably thought of this but you can also try selling the shard token to help compensate. Maybe you don't calculate that towards your break even since it's not part of conquest, but it still helps.

I didn't buy anything for conquest mode, for some reason that mode is a bit confusing for me and I never got the hang of it.

It's a shame that the creator of "Golem Overlord" hasn't updated his game since last year. I hope this changes because I like monster games. I also hope you manage to break even on your investment in this game.
