Genesis League Goal: Packs staking is now available! - Step by step guide + My considerations and my GLX strategy (ENG/ITA)
The Spliterlands ecosystem is continually expanding and evolving because there are two games in development that Splinterlands is creating in collaboration with other development teams:
- Splinterlands Tower Defense: collaboration between Splinterlands and Double Coconut
- Genesis League Goals: collaboration between Splinterlands and Genesis League Sports
I consider both of these two new projects to be very interesting, which is why I invested in both projects at the presale stage where I purchased:
- 167 card packs of Tower Defense that cost me 760K DEC + 167 VOUCHER
- 110 packs of cards of Genesis League Goals that cost me 1020.19 HIVE.
Today I am returning to write about the Genesis League Goals project because just today the possibility of staking card packs (GMLSPA packs) was enabled.
The reward distribution for GMLSPA stakeholders will begin on December 13, 2022 at 1 p.m. EST.
Even though there are still about seven days left until the start of the reward distribution I have staked my 110 GLG packs right away and if you also have GLG packs I suggest you do it right away because the risk is to forget and losing the first few days of staking means missing the days when the APR is very high ;)
Staking packs is a very simple operation, and the Genesis League Sport team has published an excellent guide showing how to do it: How do I Stake GMLSPA Packs?
I in order to staking my 110 packs of Genesis Leauge Goals cards (GMLSPA packs) performed the steps that I have summarized graphically in the following two images:
- 1. I clicked on Login (https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/)
- 2. Then I clicked on KEYCHAIN
- 3. Then I entered my Hive account name.
- 4. Then I clicked on KEYCHAIN
- 5. Then I clicked on Confirm within the Hive Keychain screen.
After I logged in:
- 1. I clicked on PACKS
- 2. then I clicked on Stake
- 3. then I entered the amount of packs to put in stakes.
I chose to put all my packs in staking - 4. then I clicked on Stake
- 5. then I clicked Confirm within the Hive Keychain screen.
That's it! As you can see from the following image all 110 of my GMLSPA packs are now staked!
The distribution of rewards will begin on December 13, 2022.
Those like me who participated in Presale 1 will be rewarded daily with an amount of GLX tokens.
The total Reward Pool is 15 million GLX tokens divided as follows:
- 7.5 million GLX tokens will be distributed daily to participants in Presale 1 which is still ongoing.
- 7.5 million GLX tokens will be distributed daily to participants in Presale 1 and Presale 2.
The presale 1 is still ongoing and so far 269785 GMLSPA packs have been sold and there are still 230215 packs available for purchase.
In the following image you can see the timing of the various stages of sale of GMLSPA card packs.
Today 1 token GLX has a value of:
- 0.23739000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0821787 (Lowest Ask)
- 0.23501206 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0813555 (Highest Bid)
If by hypothesis (very improbable) the total number of packs sold during presale 1 remains unchanged until the end of presale each GMLSPA pack will allow to receive 27.80 GLX and I with my 110 packs staked will receive at least 3057.99 GLX whose current market value is $248.52 (Highest Bid).
If by hypothesis all available packs will be sold during Presale 1 (500K) each GMLSPA pack will allow to receive at least 15 GLX and I with my 110 packs will receive at least 1650 GLX whose current market value is 134.10$ (Highest Bid).
My GLX token strategy
The airdrop of GLX tokens for staking GMLSPA packs will run concurrently with the airdrop of GLX tokens for SPS stakeholders that started on November 9, 2022.
In my previous posts, I have shared my strategies related to GLX tokens.
I have modified my initial strategy several times and have done so based on trends in the value of Splinterlands assets in which I am particularly interested.
When the distribution of GLX tokens began I had 482.47 GLX staked.
I reached an amount of 800 GLX staked and then sold all the GLX tokens with the goal of buying SPS tokens to first reach my goal related to SPS tokens which is 100K SPS staked.
But with the income from the sale of GLX tokens I only bought 1151 SPS tokens because when I saw that Chaos Legion packs were on sale at a price lower than $1.50 on Hive Engine I changed my strategy and decided to buy CHAOS tokens.
In the table below you can see all the buying and selling I have done since the start of the airdrop of GLX tokens.
My current situation is as follows:
- GLX staked: 1038.76
- Total GLX sold: 1135.94
- Total SPS purchased: 1151
- Total CHAOS purchased: 164
- Total Earnings: 563.65 SWAP.HIVE
- Total Costs: 796.77 SWAP.HIVE
So I have invested more than what I have earned from selling the GLX tokens, and that is why in the next few days I will continue to sell the GLX tokens that I get from airdrop.
The fact that I am selling the GLX tokens does not mean that I do not believe in the Genesis League Goal project but it is just the opposite and I believe in this project very much.
This is not financial advice but just my personal prediction but I believe that the market value of GLX tokens will continue to go down as the number of GLX tokens in circulation increases.
This is why I want to continue to sell GLX tokens to buy other Splinterlands assets such as Chaos Legion card packs to get more Splinterlands game rewards and then buy more GLX tokens in the future when and if they have a lower value than they do now.
Right now my main goal is to increase the battle strength of my Splinterlands card collection to play in Splinterlands Diamond leagues in order to earn more SPS tokens from battle victories and from opening chests.
My strategy is obviously personal and is just one of many investment strategies offered by the Splinterlands ecosystem, which with the Genesis League Goals project has increased the number of game assets. The ability to choose from various investment strategies is another aspect I like so much of Splinterlands.

Considero entrambi i due nuovi progetti molto interessanti e per questo motivo ho investito in entrambi i progetti in fase di prevendita in cui ho acquistato:

- 110 pacchi di carte di Genesis League Goals che mi sono costati 1020.19 HIVE
Oggi ritorno a scrivere sul progetto Genesis League Goals perchè proprio oggi è stata abilitata la possibilità di mettere in staking i pacchi di carte (GMLSPA packs).
La distribuzione delle ricompense per gli GMLSPA stakeholders inizierà il 13 dicembre 2022 alle ore 13.00 EST.
Anche se mancano ancora circa sette giorni alla distribuzione delle ricompense io ho voluto mettere subito in staking i miei 110 pacchi GLG e se hai anche tu dei pacchi GLG ti consiglio di farlo subito perchè il rischio è quello di dimenticarsi e perdere i primi giorni di staking vuol dire perdere i giorni in cui l'APR è molto alto ;)
Mettere i pacchi in staking è un'operazione molto semplice e il team di Genesis League Sport ha pubblicato un'ottima guida che mostra come fare: How do I Stake GMLSPA Packs?
Io per effettuare lo staking dei miei 110 pacchi di carte Genesis Leauge Goals (GMLSPA packs) ho effettuato i passi che ho sintetizzato graficamente nell'immagine seguente:
- 1. Ho cliccato su Login (https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/)
- 2. Poi ho cliccato su KEYCHAIN
- 3. Poi ho inserito il mio Hive account name
- 4. Poi ho cliccato su KEYCHAIN
- 5. Poi ho cliccato su Confirm all'interno della schermata di Hive Keychain
Dopo che ho effettuato il login:
- 1. Ho cliccato su PACKS
- 2. poi ho cliccato su Stake
- 3. poi ho inserito il quantitativo di pacchi da mettere in stake
Io ho scelto di mettere tutti i miei pacchi in staking - 4. poi ho cliccato su Stake
- 5. poi ho cliccato su Confirm all'interno della schermata di Hive Keychain
Tutto qui! Come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente tutti e 110 i miei pacchi GMLSPA sono adesso staked!
Il 13 dicembre 2022 inizierà la distribuzione delle ricompense.
Chi come me ha partecipato alla Presale 1 sarà ricompensato giornalmente con un quantitativo di token GLX.
La Reward Pool totale è di 15 milioni di token GLX divisa nel seguente modo:
- 7.5 milioni di token GLX saranno distribuiti giornalmente ai partecipanti alla Presale 1 che è ancora in corso.
- 7.5 milioni di token GLX saranno distribuiti giornalmente ai partecipanti alla Presale 1 e alla Presale 2.
La presale 1 è ancora in corso e fino ad oggi sono stati venduti 269785 pacchi GMLSPA e ci sono ancora 230215 pacchi disponibili all'acquisto.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le tempistiche delle varie fasi di vendita dei pacchi di carte GMLSPA.
Oggi 1 token GLX ha un valore di:
- 0.23739000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0821787 (Lowest Ask)
- 0.23501206 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0813555 (Highest Bid)
Se per ipotesi (molto improbabile) il totale dei pacchi venduti durante la presale 1 rimarrà invariato fino alla fine della presale ogni pacco GMLSPA permetterà di ricevere 27.80 GLX e io con i miei 110 pacchi riceverò almeno 3057.99 GLX il cui valore attuale di mercato è di 248.52$ (Highest Bid).
Se per ipotesi verranno venduti tutti i pacchi disponibili durante la Presale 1 (500K) ogni pacco GMLSPA permetterà di ricevere almeno 15 GLX e io con i miei 110 pacchi riceverò almeno 1650 GLX il cui valore attuale di mercato è di 134.10$ (Highest Bid).
La mia strategia sui token GLX
L'airdrop dei token GLX per lo staking dei pacchi GMLSPA si affiancherà all'airdrop dei token GLX per gli SPS stakeholder che è iniziato il 9 novembre 2022.
Nei miei precedenti post ho codiviso le mie strategie relative ai token GLX.
Ho più volte modificato la mia strategia iniziale e l'ho fatto in base all'andamento del valore degli assets di Splinterlands a cui sono particolarmente interessato.
Quando è iniziata la distribuzione dei token GLX avevo 482.47 GLX staked.
Ho raggiunto un quantitativo di 800 GLX staked e poi ho venduto tutti i token GLX con l'obiettivo di comprare i token SPS per raggiungere prima il mio obiettivo relativo ai token SPS che è di 100K SPS staked.
con il ricavato della vendita dei token GLX ho comprato solo 1151 token SPS perchè quando ho visto che i pacchi Chaos Legion erano in vendita ad un prezzo inferiore a 1.50$ ho deciso di acquistare i token CHAOS.
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere tutte le operazioni di acquisto e di vendita che ho fatto dall'inizio dell'airdrop dei token GLX.
La mia situazione attuale è la seguente:
- GLX staked: 1038.76
- Total GLX sold: 1135.94
- Total SPS purchased: 1151
- Total CHAOS purchased: 164
- Total Earnings: 563.65 SWAP.HIVE
- Total Costs: 796.77 SWAP.HIVE
Ho quindi investito più di quello che ho guadagnato dalla vendita dei token GLX e per questo motivo nei prossimi giorni continuerò a vendere i token GLX che otterrò dall'airdrop.
Il fatto che vendo i token GLX non vuol dire che non credo nel progetto Genesis League Goal ma è invece proprio il contrario e credo molto in questo progetto.
Non è un consiglio finanziario ma è solo la mia personale previsione ma io credo che il valore di mercato dei token GLX continuerà a scendere man mano che aumenterà il numero dei token GLX in circolazione.
Per questo motivo voglio continuare a vendere i token GLX per acquistare altri assets di Splinterlands come i pacchi di carte Chaos Legion per ottenere più ricompense di gioco di Splinterlands per poi comprare un maggior numero di token GLX in futuro quando e se avranno un valore più basso rispetto a quello attuale.
In questo momento il mio obiettivo principale è aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte di Splinterlands per giocare nelle leghe Diamond di Splinterlands in modo da guadagnare un numero maggiore di token SPS dalle vittorie in battaglia e dall'apertura dei forzieri.
La mia strategia è ovviamente personale ed è solo una delle tante strategie di investimento che offre l'ecosistema di Splinterlands che con il progetto Genesis League Goals ha aumentato il numero degli assets di gioco. La possibilità di scegliere tra varie strategie di investimento è un altro aspetto che mi piace tanto di Splinterlands.

So many different strategies and approaches to this future game... For example, I'm doing completely opposite to your way... 😃 Exchanging SPS to GLX and staking it... I know that the price of GLX tokens will go significantly down, and probably go under the price of the SPS tokens, but the current APR (that will also go down), is too good to not to be used... The price of GLX will go down (in my opinion) to 3-4c, but on the other side, with declining APR, there is a chance to double (or triple) the amount of mined tokens... This means that I could be at ZERO... But... There is another token that is currently mined and has no value, but it will have... That is another level of income, plus diesel pools in the future... But we will see...
Regarding packs staking, if I have calculated well, with the imminent GLX token drop, the APR on that could be around 10-20%... So, not that interesting at this moment, but holding packs for the long term has sense as the price will bump to $10 and more in the future...
Of course... Before all that, I hope that we will see some beta version of a game...

Yes and that's really the fun and interesting part of these presale projects, there are really a lot of strategies to follow and they all have a right logic.
Consider that I have changed my strategy at least three times :) !LOL
I after the experience with airdrop of SPS tokens decided to follow a more or less balanced strategy between seeing and staking.
At first with an APR of 4000% I doubled the tokens in stakes in a few days then started selling them to buy other assets.
Personally I think the value of GLX tokens may drop in the next few months even 50% from the value it has today because unlike SPS tokens GLX tokens do not have a playable game and their number in circulation will increase but of course this is just my personal prediction.
With a current APR of 700% your strategy is absolutely valid
Completely agree with you and before the presale ends I plan to buy some packs just to do holding ;)

I have learned from the Land expansion that I would only buy assets of a game that can actually be used. Therefore I skipped GLX pack sales. However I have been staking my airdrop and profiting from very high staking APR so far. I sell 10% of all the staking rewards at the moment. I guess that with the pack staking rewards GLX value might drop slightly because of the higher supply. Great post as usual !

I did not buy any packs so I just plan on selling my GLX and deciding later when prices go down. In a way, it has been kind of feeding into Splinterlands instead.

Grazie mille per quest'altro utilissimo post, avevo visto GLS perche avevo ricevuto i GLX per i miei SPS in stake, ma non sapevo che erano già disponibili i pacchetti e nemmeno la possibilità dello stake. Comprerò sicuramente alcuni pacchi se poi incrementeranno così di costo.
Ma ti chiedo una cosa, perchè non hai rimesso in stake i GLX,? Ho visto che stanno rendendo molto i miei, che infatti pensavo di comprarne alcuni da aggiungere allo stake.

Ho voluto seguire una strategia a metà tra lo staking e il vendere.
quando l'apr era al 4000% ho messo in stake i miei token ma quando li ho raddoppiati ho iniziato a venderli.
adesso l'APR è al 700% ed è un ottimo APR ma preferisco vendere ancora per un pò per comprare assets che possono aumentare da subito le mie ricompense come le carte di Splinterlands visto che gioco giornalmente.
Secondo me i token perderanno ancora valore perchè aumeterà il numero in circolazione e li comprerò in futuro quando avranno casi d'uso oltre allo staking ;)
Quando scenderanno di valore rispetto ad oggi passerò in modalità full staking o 50% e 50%.
Insomma mi farò guidare dal valore di mercato dei token, se non avessi altri progetti che seguo e che sono giù giocabili forse avrei optato per una strategia diversa ma se ad esempio la vendita mi permetterò di aumentare altre ricompense di altri giochi io vendo...

Scusa il ritardo. Cavolo, tu hai un progetto già super delineato in testa, hai una visione che viaggia e crea. Ciao Liberty, grazie per questi post e questi continui aggiornamenti. Attualmente non ho ancora acquistato pacchetti Tower Defence e per ora non ho acquistato pacchetti per Genesis League e forse me ne pentiró. Quindi ti esorto a continuare a fare questi post perchè così se devo cambiare idea la cambieró prima. Per ora sono abbastanza intenzionato a seguire PsyberX che è un First Person Shooter e credo che mi andró a vedere i tuoi vecchi post a riguardo nei prossimi giorni.
Grazie del commento e scusa il ritardo nella risposta, avvolte mi perdo qualche commento ma poi quando ho un po di tempo in più ricontrollo se ne ho perso qualcuno e cerco di recuperare e questo tuo commento mi era sfuggito.
I progetti di gaming su Hive iniziano ad essere tanti e seguirli tutti incomincia a diventare molto difficile anche se l'incremento di progetti è un elemento molto positivo per l'ecosistema di Hive.
Alla fine penso sia giusto e logico interessarsi e focalizzarsi sui progetti che più ci piacciono o pensiamo potrebbero piacerci ;)
