Today, after 13 days, I'm back to share my progress and some general seasonal statistics on dCrops, a Hive-based farming game that I've been playing since its release more than 4 years ago.

On dCrops, season 113, spring, is currently underway and will end in just over 14 days.

In season 112, temperatures were much colder because it was winter.

During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.

Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT.
In fact, each seed-type NFT planted in a land-type NFT produces crops that can be sold in exchange for SHARES points, and each SHARE point earned during a season allows players to receive a prize in CROP tokens at the end of the season.
For example, NFT Kale produces 2 Kale in 6 days.
1 Kale can be sold in exchange for 7 SHARES
Using NFT Kale during the spring season allows you to earn a total of 14 SHARES
For example, if the CROP/SHARE ratio is 0.4, selling 2 Kale crops will earn you 5.6 CROP tokens.

In season 112, players earned 0.499 CROP for each SHARE point, an increase of +0.078 CROP compared to the previous season:

The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important, which is why I will share and update this information in each of my posts about dCrops.
Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.

If you want to see how many shares points and how many CROP you have received in past season leaderboards you can use this link: https://dcrops.com/db/leaderboard/season?s=68 replacing the final number with the number of the season you want to check.
I verified that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.

Starting from season 84 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.
In season 112, there were 179 active players, exactly the same number as in season 111.

The negative trend recorded in previous seasons has been interrupted, even though there has been no increase in active players:

I started monitoring and sharing the number of active players in my posts starting from season 84, and the general trend has been one of continuous decline, albeit in a non-linear way, because there was an increase in active players, especially during events.
In season 86, there were 282 active players, while today there are 183.
In the next images you can see the active players from season 108 to season 84.

The start of a season is when I perform the most game operations:
I have chosen to play only in Farm mode, but dCrops offers multiple game modes to choose from or play simultaneously.

In Season 112, I completed the seven seasonal quests and received 15 Reward Chests as a reward.

In the reward chests, I found:

I will convert the craft items into Shares points during the first future event (if there is one).
I will put resource-type NFTs up for sale because I have chosen to play only in Farm mode, where they are of no use.
I will use Mystery Seeds in seasons when I have fewer seeds to plant.
I use Boosters almost every season to speed up the growth of crops that take longer and to increase the probability of receiving high-rarity crops that are worth more Shares points.
1 Wood NFT is worth 0.500 SWAP.HIVE
1 Stone NFT is worth 0.050 SWAP.HIVE
The 5 resource-type NFTs (1 Wood + 5 Stone) I received today are worth a total of 0.700 SWAP.HIVE

Season after season, the Shares point value of my inventory increases because I follow an event-oriented strategy:
The current value of my inventory is 46182 SHARES.
At the start of season 112, my inventory was worth 44376 SHARES.
During season 112, the value of my inventory increased by +1806 SHARES.

I could have earned more Shares during the winter season, but I didn't harvest all my mature crops before the end of the season.

Crops that are mature but not harvested during the season in which they were planted are lost crops and, as a result, lost share points.
I have lost mature crops due to time running out in the past, and it is very likely that this will happen again in the future because I don't have much free time and on some days I have no free time at all, but I will try to be more careful in future seasons.
New season and new seasonal quests to complete!
In the next image, you can see the 7 new seasonal quests that I have to complete during season 113 (the current season).

I was very unlucky with the winter quests (4 out of 7 quests could not be completed).
The spring quests went much, much better.
In fact, out of 7 quests, I only received 1 quest that could not be completed because I don't have Eggplant seeds.
For me, receiving only one quest that cannot be completed is a very rare occurrence based on the NFTs I own, and for this reason, I was really lucky.

Thanks to the Reroll feature, I changed the Plant 3 Eggplant Seeds quest to the Sell 2 Beetroot (1 star) quest.

I used the Reroll feature only once and spent 10 CROP.
I have already completed the Sell quests and only have 3 Harvest quests left to complete before the end of the season.

The last game operation I perform at the beginning of each season is to plant my seed-type NFTs in the Farm section of dCrops.

Before planting my seed-type NFTs, I used 5 Boosters: 4 Ferti-plus and 3 Speed-gro.

I used 4 Ferti-plus in my first four Awesome Lands and 3 Speed-gro in my first three Awesome Lands.
In the next images, you can see all the seeds I planted today in my 48 land-type NFTs, which contain a total of 79 plots.

When I published my previous seasonal report on dCrops on November 24, 2025, the value of the CROP token was:
Today, December 6, 2025, the value of the CROP token is:

Today, December 6, 2025, to buy or sell CROP tokens, it is more convenient to use the SWAP feature of the CROP:SWAP.HIVE pool.

In fact, if you buy 100 CROP on Hive Engine at the Lowest Ask value, you spend 0.2429 SWAP.HIVE
If you buy 100 CROP using the SWAP feature of the CROP:SWAP.HIVE pool, you spend 0.2087 SWAP.HIVE
dCrops is a game I like, and I will continue to promote it by publishing a post every 15 days because it is a game that has weaknesses but also many strengths, such as different reward mechanisms (seasonal quests, seasonal leaderboards, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 events per year), and in the event of a future increase in Hive users, dCrops could also increase its player base.

If you don't know the game of dCrops, I invite you to read two posts I wrote previously, which I hope will help you to know the basics of the game.

I am not a financial advisor and the information contained in this post is not financial advice.
Before investing in a blockchain-based game you should always do your own research and personal evaluations.
My advice is to always only invest what you can afford to lose with a light heart!

1 NFT Wood vale 0.500 SWAP.HIVE
1 NFT Stone vale 0.050 SWAP.HIVE

Ho utilizzato 4 Ferti-plus nelle mie prime quattro Awesome Land e i 3 Speed-gro nelle mie prime tre Awesome Land.

| Quests stagionali | Leaderboard stagionale | Holding rewards | Lucky Wheel |

It looks like a tough season, and I hope you don't forget about your crops too often. It does happen as life can get busy quite fast.
You're absolutely right, my friend, life is often hectic.
Thanks, that crop/share ratio is something I didn't appreciate.
I wonder will we get a Christmas event this year, it's kind of concerning if these things don't happen, as it does somewhat hint that the game is going down the Golem Overlord route and just being left to tick over, eventually ending up like dCity
I also hope that the Christmas event will take place because two events have already been skipped in 2025 and also because I consider events to be an important part of the game. In my opinion, without events, dCrops loses a lot of its appeal...
Good updates L.C. Was interesting end to this prior season, I got decent amount of crop, but lets rock forward !PIMP
Yes my friend, lets rock forward! :)
!PIMP
I'm so glad you love so many Hive games and that you know so much about them and compile statistics so others can learn. Thank you!
Yes, my friend, I love Hive-based games, and I'm glad you find my posts useful for other players.
