Why I prefer to create & consume crypto contents

The two photos were taken during COVID 2020

I started out on Hive by making general random stuff. Like discussing life and motivation, but my life was not colorful enough to inspire anyone, so I stopped.

It was not really my thing. I came from a place where I was a storyteller for a website, and also I learned SEO, because we always wanted to take advantage of the Google algorithm back then to rank our websites.

However, these types of content were not working. Then I decided to start creating videos. I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it was difficult because you had to cut and edit, and you usually had to repeat a statement several times before you got it right, but it was enjoyable.

I received a lot of comments on my videos, and it appeared that people preferred to watch videos rather than read. Following that, I began creating my own lifestyle and travel blogs.

I eventually stopped doing that and started taking my own photos. This felt better, so I bought an iPhone 12 and started using it with my Samsung A72. The advantage here was that I could post my photos on my blog.

I posted a lot on Liketu (our own very Instagram) but then I stopped again.
Over time, I discovered what my customers wanted to see and stuck with it, but I was not getting the satisfaction I desired.

However, I continued to take my own original photographs.

Someone told me they would be more supportive if I used my original photos. Previously, I had to constantly search Google for stock images, and the majority of the time I ended up downloading ones that were not free to use.

Stock Image & ownership issues.

Nowadays anyone can create an AI prompt and slam it in their post, it wasn't the same in 2020

I was a sports writer, but the moderator kept flagging my post and saying the pictures weren't original. I think this frustration made me envious of creators who could create their own photos.

So I decided to take various photos and draw inspiration from them.

Although the native AI images on peakD seems decent. The ones I see on some posts nowadays are quite cringy

However, I began creating more crypto content, and it was enjoyable to constantly read about crypto, form my own opinions, and write my own posts.

Knowing more about xrypto On Hive is a huge plus

To be honest I started getting excited about crypto contents after the mess up of 2021. If I'm going to succeed in the space I might otherwise stop being blind and get more interested in crypto.

I am not trying to undermine those who are not interested in crypto, but rather making generalizations. I am just saying that if you are on Hive, you need that (crypto) knowledge to explore other spaces with even more opportunities.

For example, if you want to accumulate more Hive over time, you will need tactics, especially if you understand how the market works.

Also, if you want to know how to sell and buy, you must first learn the basics. If you are on Hive, you are probably limiting your opportunities by not understanding how the market works and how you can acquire or own more liquidity over time.

1000556965.jpg

So basically crypto contents are 50% what I create most of the time and its surprising on how that turned out well because I was completely clueless in 2017.

It's probably because I've followed a lot of crypto creators over the years on Hive and om Twitter as well, and the stuffs they've created over the years have robbed off on me.

This, combined with my interest in how the market works and my desire to profit from it, has resulted in the creation of more crypto-related content.

By all means, I am still learning how it all works, so most of the crypto posts I have or will create should not be the first place you look, but I believe that crypto-related content is a result of the exposure I receive on a daily basis.

Conclusion

However, I still create random stuffs most of the time, but my love for crypto contents has made me a little sentimental. It means that most non-crypto content does not pique my interest, unless the creators are exceptional.

I began taking pictures because I studied creators who know how to use their own images, and to this day, a good image in a blog can make me open a post, especially if the creator has done a good job of leading their post with a great image taken by them.

Sometimes my search for crypto posts leads me to Twitter, and sometimes I compare the sentiments of various crypto creators to find a middle ground on what might be true or what appears likely.

So, for the time being, I do not believe my content creation style will change; I have found a happy medium and know what I am passionate about.

You go with what you like and what you know. I tend to vary mine a lot, mainly to avoid burnout to be honest. It's hard to do the same content daily for me. The videos would be a lot of work, to make them professional looking it would be hours of work. Not for me... AI does make creating headers simple though, which I like to use a few days a week.

It's amazing how little I knew about crypto back even five years ago compared to today, things have changed so much and I learn new things every day. I keep thinking about adding in more crypto content but there is already so much out there. On Saturday I do my Hive stuff, maybe I'll add a day in weeks when I don't do LEGOs or something.

I hope things are going well for you!

I don't really create as much as I used to. In the past I did put a lot of energy into content creating, not just on Hive. However I guess we life sets in and commitments take over it's difficult to keep up with.

I no longer take pictures that much, but I have a lot of images I've taken in the past that I put in my posts at all times.

Actually asides from edicted and a few other accounts that creates really good crypto contents, I don't think we have enough of it on Hive. What's more saturated on Hive is travel and lifestyle contents. If you click on the trending pages you're going to see travel contents 80% times on the trending page.

This shows that very little people here knows how crypto actually works. This affected me a lot in 2021, because we didn't have much crypto content, I made a lot of mistakes.

It was mostly travel and photography as well as contents on how Hive works. Nothing about the entire crypto spectrum.

So, if you think of creating stuffs around crypto, you can do it. 70% of people here still don't know how the market works, so.

There is a lot of travel and lifestyle content to be honest, I just as a general rule don't pay as much attention to it. Unless it's someplace that really interests me. And most people really don't understand markets and crypto well, you are right. I guess I could toss in my two cents here and there, but making picks right now outside of BTC is like playing roulette...

I don't think it's bad to like crypto content. I think that people change over time, and seeing the same thing every single day can get tiring. I think you should do what you feel like doing. After all, it's easy to just move on and do something else. So you should just have fun doing what you want to do.

Yeah, I know it's not bad to actually like crypto contents. I just kind of get amazed how I've come to almost prefer it to almost any other type of stuffs. I like the knowledge that comes with it. I think everyone needs it at some point

I believe using your own photos give your posts more personal touch and you should continue doing that as long as you enjoy sharing them.

Since we are in crypto, probably many of us feel drawn to talk about this domain in some of our posts.

I took most of the photos I use on my blog from 2020 to 2023, I've since stopped taking photos for intentional content creation from 2023 since the demise of my brother. However from 2020 to 2023 I took over 1000 photos which are edited, vetted and ready to use. It's how much I love photo taking.

As for crypto. Well, you're right. Person we all want to make it, hence creating content around it feels sensible

More than half of the knowledge I've learnt about crypto came from reading crypto content on Hive. At that time, I was hungry and drawn to understand the basics of this space to spot and maximize the opportunities that come my way. Nowadays, I'm a bit less keen on consuming crypto content in general, unless there's an individual perspective to it.

I think the more you know how about crypto, the more one gets to expand whatever position they hold, without the knowledge it's difficult to actually last that long. I'll always say if I knew about crypto the way I do now, perhaps I could have been close to being a whale

0E-8 BEE

Right. The knowledge also builds conviction, have the ability to be patience and think long term. It's when I really understand crypto that I began to take it seriously too.

I see why you switched to crypto content. I used to make Comedy videos with 3speak the. I switched because I started getting interest in crypto, the value of Blockchain and political drama oh and tech too.

Ohhh well I see about the crypto things but the problem being with me is that I am from india and here u can say that probably it's like illegal over here.

0.00031599 BEE

Crypto is mostly illegal in many third world countries, but the knowledge is not illegal and millions of people still owns Crypto in these countries
