Create your own motivation

I recently read about a guy on X who made $24000 by creating crypto project content on KAITO, and guess what? They did it in 6 months. I tried KAITO as a small account owner on Twitter and earned 0.5 KAITO despite having been active for 6 months.

I did not want to go into introspection or spend the rest of the day wondering what this guy did right that I didn't; it was obvious: he did not just have a decent Twitter following, he had a blue check mark and had already begun participating before me.

He was focused on earning content creator rewards, while I was focused on earning testnet rewards; six months later, it became clear that becoming a creator was the better option. Again, I chose not to create content, despite the fact that I could (with proper research), but I lacked a blue check or Twitter subscription.

I did not consider the number of followers because I knew I would get more if I had a blue check mark. All it will take is a few months of consistency, possibly 6 to 8 months of creating and networking.

Of course, a blue check mark costs about $8 per month, and because it is not a one-time subscription, it means that if my subscription expires, I will lose access to the content creation features it includes, such as long-form content.

I did not have a sustainable model for continuing to pay $8 per month because I had previously made some terrible financial decisions that cost me money, and I could not have done it with my limited resources. It did not bother me when I read that post, but I knew if my partner saw it, she would be bothered.

Magical money momentum

Despite the fact that we have only been in business for a little over two weeks, she is constantly sending me pictures or links to tweets about people who made $20,000 and how they are celebrating it.

She is a newbie who has no idea how they made that money, how long it took, how much research they did, and how consistent they were.

Apparently, I have always had to remind her that it requires a tremendous amount of effort, and that she lacks the necessary energy and time. However, I still do not think she understands it, and she always sends me pictures of people who made $30k for doing things she had no idea they did.

Using the success stories of others to gauge your timeline and efforts can lead to feelings of unfulfillment.

One of the most common ways to do this is to compare your efforts to those of others. We tend to believe that because our efforts resemble those of others, we should be succeeding in the same way they are.

When I was younger, I knew parents who would compare their children to other children who were smarter and more intelligent, and then blame them for failing to perform well in class.

Back then, intelligence was measured by finishing first in class. However, the metric is always the same. We cannot compare different people's knowledge levels using similar metrics because one thing is certain: the data will always be flawed, favoring only some people.

Free is not always free

Apparently, my partner was not as hardworking as you would expect, but after earning $5,000 from doing almost nothing, she likely assumed that was how easy it was to make money on a consistent basis.

It is actually a very scary mindset, and one of the reasons she feels this way is that many people rarely post about the efforts they put in to succeed. Most of the time, they are quick to tell people how successful they have become without mentioning the hard work they put in.

We always try to downplay the importance of hard work and success, probably because we believe that discussing how difficult it was to achieve would make the success appear less flashy. However, what this does is foster the belief that anything is possible, regardless of what you did or did not do.

People, in my opinion, should be their own sources of motivation rather than looking for it elsewhere. We live in a time when people are rewarded for flaunting themselves. We often underestimate the attention economy.

Attention economy

For example, when you go to Instagram, you will see a lot of women who are not even wearing clothes and posting the most revealing aspects of their bodies. You may think this makes no sense, but when you look at their following section, you will see a lot of people who are following them and hoping to see them on a daily basis.

Because of how nudity sells, these people have suddenly become influencers, and before you know it, companies will be sending them invitations to become ambassadors. This is not because they posted any meaningful content; they only had to post nudity and controversy to gain a following.

If you do not understand how to be your own stepping stone It will be difficult for you to grasp how far you have come. Even the worst mistakes provide some form of learning and adaptation.

People who do not make mistakes do not learn, and when they do not learn, they are unable to adapt. When you are unable to adapt, you know you are not growing. My partner needs to learn to be her own motivation, and I hope I can help her understand why this is so important.

Making $5K quickly like that was a bit of luck, too bad it can't happen every time. But that's not how it works. Being a content creator and getting lot of followers is the way to make money. The blue check mark helps too, but is costly. Even then most people trying to get monetized on X will still fail. It not an easy thing to do.

Attractive women who show off their bodies have learned in a great way to become an influencer and make a living. Many will do Only Fans and make a lot of money just showing off their goods. It's hard to blame them, a girl with little education but has good looks and a nice figure can make more than $100K a year. And if you become a big time influencer you can make millions.

Social media is a tough place to make money. If you have enough followers though you have a shot at it. Personally I don't much care for classic social media, they love to sell your info to make money.

Too bad KAITO didn't pay off for you there, it sounds like you really need an influencer account with a lot of followers.

Yeah, Monetization on X is a strategic thinking and you'll need a lot of impressions, but those who actually get it, go to make a lot of money. I recently saw someone earning $2.7k for for two weeks , for 4M impressions. It's a crazy strategic money if you're able to get it. Unfortunately it's not for everyone.

Influencers are the money printers online, these guys just leverage their huge following to make money for themselves, as for the women, I think that's just how life is, a lot of men would rather spend time looking at women who are not wearing clothes online, and even going ahead to follow them.

I always say, if it is so easy to make money out of nothing and without effort, then we would be everyone rich, so I never read or listen of people making 20-30k easy and stuff like that

Of course if you are a beautiful woman you can sell your body for a lot of money but that has a price to pay too

Haha, some women don't even need to sell their body, all they need to do is to post pictures of them online, they get plenty people following them from this, and they begin to monetize that influence.

Yeah exactly, if a man does that it would be a epic fail

I hope she does understand and that she does not really push you too hard. Getting money in the online world isn't easy because you end up losing more sometimes.

I heard about KAITO from Twitter, too, though I was invested in it because I had other things doing. About the blue check, I hope you get the fund needed to do that. I know it is not easy but just know you are doing so well.

Paying 8$ every month is not easy lol, I need to make sure I'm making X5 or so of that money, and that's even going to be a lot of pressure, and when I cannot pay for subsequent months, then it's all just a waste of time and all.

Ohh, good to know you've heard of KAITO as well. It's the next night thing on Twitter now, and apparently, lot's of people are making it well.

It's similar to the tip of the iceberg concept. Apart from a few lucky cases, there are a lot of unseen work that goes into making that amount of money, especially on a near consistent basis. Social media usually hides that part and only shows the results of those unseen work. Takes a lot of reality checks to realize we have different capabilities and timeframes in terms of getting what we want.

It's really bad. I know for example that I work so hard everyday, and most of the things I've tried out, has not worked, and sometimes you get people posting about how easier it's been for them, obviously I know it's not my fault, it's just that it hasn't just worked out for me.

Hmnnnn! This is really a source of motivation not to only your partner, but to other people like me aswell, because we're in an era whereby we do little and be expecting much, we work little and be expecting to succeed, sometimes we even expect magic to happen. We've forgotten that a home is not built in a day, to succeed in anything we're doing, being consistent and dedicated is very essential. Your entry made me to remember how I used to check all your posts on hive and all I see everytime I check is your earnings per post, seing above $10, and I'll ask myself this question, when would I reach this guy level, but one thing I noticed on your posts is that you're always consistent in posting everyday, I checked your last 30days and I was like, you never miss a day without showing up here in posting and immediately I said to myself that, This guy really deserve where he is now and what he's earning anytime he post. This is exactly what happened to the guy on X that earned $24000 within a short period of time. Power of consistent. I appreciate you sharing this. Thanks brother

I mostly don't compare myself to anyone, especially when I factor in the conditions I mentioned. For my partner, it's a different thing, and that's why. Sometimes it's more than consistency. The networking, the endless legwork. Many will burn out, just few will hit it.

Yeah! That's true bro

You are right sir, people see the results but shy away from the work it tookto get the results because the heights by great men reached and kept were not obtained by sudden flights but when their companions were sleeping in the night they were busy toiling and working hard, anybody who succeeds overnight didn't sleep overnight.

Work is inevitable, this is for sure.

0.00000000 BEE

I think it's the same everywhere. Alot of people compare themselves with others as it just seems easier that way. It all takes work, and only a few lucky people get it without all that work.

0.00041769 BEE

Yes, there are people who make it without even having to put in that much work, but for the larger population, it's always harder.

I really agree with u mistakes are very important to learn something new. I believe mistakes are good thing you get more experience. Btw u are also doing crypto trading or not?

I am not crypto trading.

One thing I know for a fact is comparison breeds depression since then I have become my own motivator
