Opening Major Chests and Evolving Thanalorian Blade

This week in Splinterlands I have already achieved all my goals for the Rarity Draws for this season, now all that is left is the Loot Chests, but since I won't earn enough Glint to open all 3 types of Loot Chests available, which are Minor Chests, Major Chests and Ultimate Chests, I will focus only on the Major Chests since I will be able to open them more often than the Ultimate Chests and also because my focus is on winning cards and not a jackpot, but if I am lucky enough to get a jackpot then I will be happy.

Since my last post about the Rewards Store: , I have managed to accumulate 73,669 Glint and this amount is enough to open 73 Major Chests. I should let 150,000 accumulate right away to open all the Major Chests at once but I have already rented my cards and I need more energy for the ranked battles so I prefer to open them right away and also by earning more energy I can get more Glint right away.

The chance of a jackpot is 0.01% in Major Chests, it's a low chance but I always have hope that I can get one so let's see if I was lucky this time.

My heart started racing when the chest started shaking but it wasn't a jackpot but a legendary card, unfortunately it wasn't this time but I still have 77 more Major Chests to open this season so who knows if the jackpot won't come.

Although I didn't get any jackpots I managed to get 27 energy in the 73 Major Chests, so I had a good result and with this amount of energy I will get a good additional amount of SPS and Glint this season and considering that the last time I opened 150 Major Chests I got less than 30 energy so this is certainly a great result, in fact it might even be better to open the chests in smaller quantities instead of the maximum at once, I was curious about this and will test it next time.

I also got 1 more Thanalorian Blade card and it was exactly what I needed to get it to level 3. Now it has the ability Lookout which makes units adjacent to the Thanalorian Blade take -1 damage against attacks with the abilities Sneak, Opportunity and Snipe, and also makes all your monsters take only half damage against the ability Ambush.

Although the ability Lookout is interesting, my focus is to get the Thanalorian Blade to maximum level because that way it will have 4 attack and also unlock the ability Trample which in my opinion is quite powerful together with the ability Execute.
