Opening Gladius Cases and Brawl Result

Time for another Brawl Result and this time I managed to contribute 15 points to my guild, but unfortunately the overall result of the guild was not very good and we ended up in 7th place.

My guild is The Anti Social Club, which perfectly matches the type of person I am. Unfortunately the result was worse than I expected and since the beginning of the year the guild has had similar results, which is a surprise because they usually were among the top 4 frequently and our SPS gain was on average 80 SPS per brawl.

With the current result the SPS gain was only 57 SPS, it is still a great amount for a Brawl because it is extra money but if you compare it with the previous results then this month alone I am earning 100 SPS less than what I used to earn on average per month in Brawls.

The amount of merits is still good because my guild has a Guild Store at level 8, so even though I placed seventh in this Brawl, I earned 5,138 merits and this is great news for my Gladiator card collection because I will be able to buy more Gladius Cases.

One of my main goals in Splinterlands is to get my Gladiator card collection to the maximum level because they are very useful to increase my win rate in Brawls and they will also be useful in my ranked battles and even in tournaments.

Today I will buy 10 Gladius Cases and I will also spend them buying Blood Stones to increase my chances of winning legendary cards.

Each Gladius Case costs 2,000 merits and each one comes with 5 cards, at least 1 of which must be of Rare rarity or higher.

Each Blood Stone costs 55 merits each and since I'm going to open 10 Gladius Cases, that means 50 cards so I'll need to buy 55 Blood Stones which will cost 2,750 merits in total.

There are also Power Stones and they increase the chances of me getting Gold Foils cards in the Gladius Cases, but my focus is on building a collection of regular cards so I prefer not to spend merits buying Power Stones.

Once I have everything ready I just need to open the Gladius Cases and hope for good luck to get some great cards.

It seems that using the Blood Stones was a good idea since I got 1 legendary card, although I was hoping to get more and I was lucky enough to get Jini Guise which was one of the legendary cards that was missing from my collection.

Now there are only 2 cards left for me to own all the Gladiator cards and they are Xulax Nightwind and Flagulon Reine, both are legendary cards so I will continue using the Blood Stones when opening Gladius Cases to try to get them.
