Opening 25 Epic Draws and My End of Season Rewards

After another season ends in Splinterlands, it's time to collect my precious end-of-season Glint and start spending them in the rewards store.

Unfortunately, I couldn't take a screenshot when I collected it, but the image above shows that I received 204,324 Glint, adding another 204,324 Glint that I had earned during the season, my earnings were 408,648 Glint in the previous season.

I currently have 315,130 Glint and that's because during the previous season I had spent part of the Glint on chests and now I intend to spend the rest on some more.

My focus is on Epic Draws since I really want to level up my Halfling Refugee and Olivia of the Brook cards, in my opinion they are some of the best cards in the current Soulbound collection and today I will open 25 Epic Draws and hope to be lucky enough to get a good amount of them.

To open 25 Epic Draws I will spend 187500 Glint, this is almost half of my earnings per season but it is worth it since they are great cards and I also believe that in the future they will have a good value on the market, especially if Splinterlands prospers again.

On average when I open Epic Draws, I get 5 Halfling Refugee and Olivia of the Brook cards in total, but this time I got 7, 4 of them from Halfling Refugee and 3 of them from Olivia of the Brook, in addition to that I also got a Gold Foil card so this time I can say I was lucky. I also got a good amount of Arachne Weaver cards and although it is not my focus in Epic Draws, it is still a great card and will be of great help in my battles.

I still have 127630 Glint left but I won't spend it today. I'll wait to accumulate a little more to open 30 Ultimate Chests, which is another one of my goals because I have a better chance of winning a jackpot than in the other chests and I can also get some more cards from Halfling Refugee and Olivia of the Brook. After that, I'll still have enough to open 75 Rare Draws until the end of the season, but I'm wondering if I'll open them or try my luck with the Major Chests.

I also managed to participate in a tournament today but either I was very unlucky and got strong opponents or I really wasn't cut out to participate in tournaments because I only managed to get 1 victory in 11 battles.

Unfortunately I couldn't reach a position where I could win SPS so I ended up having a loss of 800 DEC, but as I did better in the last tournament I participated in so this loss was compensated by my previous earnings.
