Gold Foil Epic Cards in Major Chests

There are only a few days left until the end of the season and I still need to open 77 Major Chests and 300 Minor Chests to complete my season goal in Splinterlands. Unfortunately, I had some problems with renting SPS because my rental order took a long time to be filled and I ended up missing 2 days of battles, which will probably greatly affect the amount of chests I will be able to open in these last days of the season.

Since I don't want to wait until I have accumulated enough Glint to open all the chests, I will partially open them while the season is still running and if I manage to accumulate 54823 Glint today, that will be enough to open 54 Major Chests.

The reason I want to open the chests quickly is because it is possible to gain energy from them, so I want to spend them quickly while my rented cards are still active.

Splinterlands recently updated the theme of the Loot Chests and I loved the art, it makes me feel more and more in the Christmas spirit and these themes have always been something I loved in games.

I wasn't as lucky as last time and only managed to get a small amount of energy, to be more exact it was 10 energy, so I won't be able to earn many extra Glint, but luckily I managed to get 2 epic Gold Foil cards so I can burn both of them to get 25000 Glint, but I haven't decided what to do yet because luckily or unluckily the 2 epic Gold Foil cards are from a card that I want in my collection so I'll probably keep them since they give me a +10% bonus in battles and by combining the 2 I can get the card to level 3.

Despite losing a lot of energy because I don't have rented SPS, I'm not sad because my SPS gain is very high this season since I'm earning an average of 7 SPS per victory and that's almost 20% more than I was earning in the previous season so I'll have good gains and the amount of Glint is also high so I won't I'll fall far behind in my goals next season even if I can't open all the chests this time.

I also want to test more powerful cards next season because I feel like I'm missing out a lot by not reaching a higher league. Currently, my limit for the season is reaching Champion 3, but I want to try to reach Champion 1 through this league. Champion 2 gives a lot of chests and it would be a waste to win them since I'll earn more cards, energy and I'll also have a better chance of getting a jackpot. So I'm going to build a new deck and see if I can reach these leagues next season even if I have to spend a little more on renting cards.
