Completing The Wasteland's Whispers Quest in Golem Overlord

Today I decided to stop being lazy and finally complete the initial quests in Golem Overlord. Every Golem Overlord player receives a series of quests to complete as soon as they start the game and when you finish one quest another one appears next and this happens until you complete them all.

In total there are 71 quests and the reason I haven't completed them until today is because the rewards aren't very attractive to me and they get harder and harder to complete, so I just kept putting them off. To see the list of Quests and the requirements to complete them as well as the rewards, you can see everything on the website: Golem Overlord Quests.

I won't complete them all today because it's impossible since some of the requirements of some quests require time, so I completed enough to get to the Quest I wanted which was The Wasteland's Whispers. This quest rewards 2x Vista Trove II, which is a pack that will give the player a Background and the Background will give a bonus to the SHARD Claim Multiplier. Since earning SHARD is one of my biggest sources of income in the game, I think it's a very useful item to have.

It's very simple to complete the quest. All you need to do is change your avatar. To do this, you just need to click on the image next to your name in the game.

Then select an avatar and save it. As you can see, each avatar costs at least 547 SHARD, but you don't need to worry about spending that amount because every player receives 1 free avatar when they start the game.

The free avatar is the first one that appears on the list and it doesn't have a SHARD value above it. All you need to do is select it and save it by clicking on the document above it.

There you go, now you've changed your avatar and met the requirements to complete the quest The Wasteland's Whispers.

After completing the mission, you will receive 2x Vista Trove II and will be able to open them to get 1 Background each. Remember that this is not an NFT item, it is linked to your account so you cannot sell it, but there is an NFT version of it that you can buy on the market.

These are the Background rarity chances when opening Vista Trove II. The Abundant rarity gives you +1% Claim SHARD Multiplier, the Scarce rarity gives you +2% Claim SHARD Multiplier, the Precious rarity gives you +3% Claim SHARD Multiplier, the Exceptional rarity gives you +5% Claim SHARD Multiplier, the Invaluable rarity gives you +10% Claim SHARD Multiplier, the Enigma rarity gives you +15% Claim SHARD Multiplier, and the Artifact rarity gives you +20% Claim SHARD Multiplier.

I hope to get at least one Precious rarity Background, but if I could get one of Artifact rarity I would certainly jump for joy.

The quest gave me 2x Vista Trove II, so I have 2 chances to get a good rarity, let's see if today is my lucky day.

I got 2 of Precious rarity so I can't complain since they will give me +3%, I can equip several Backgrounds if I have free space but only 1 can give me the bonus, so the most I will get is +3% even with 2 of Precious rarity, but it is still a great bonus and I was also lucky enough to get the Capshade Cave Background which is quite beautiful and one of my favorites in the game.

Now I will earn more SHARD in the game and 3% may seem little but every drop makes a difference, my only regret is that these Backgrounds are not NFTs because if they were I would earn at least 6 Hive with each of them, although I would only sell 1 and keep the other.
