Finding Your Feet In MoonKarts

I remembered my first experience with MarioKart I played it around 2006 with my brother and his friends during high school, we started with sega and advance to Ps2 by contributing money to get the gameplay, i remembered we used it on box tv then and our first game bought was super mario, and it's racing game Mario Karts, then before advancing to God of war. It was a fantastic memory, we usually bet on races with the little pocket money we had back then.

When i heard about the new release of the racing game MoonKarts hosted in ArcadeColony I was excited, one reason though was because i am a fan of games let alone racing game and if am not mistaken this is the first hive racing game.

MoonKarts is a play2earn game and it reminded me so much of MarioKarts, i wanted to have a little feel of how we fight each other for turns back then, so i decide maybe it's time i join in the fun

When i decided to try out MoonKarts i experience a lot of roadblocks, though i read countless tutorial post on hive on how to go about the registration process there were helpful but didn't really pinpoint my roadblocks.

So here i am giving a detailed explanation incase others interested in the game are experiencing the same roadblocks, here is my process step by step to get over certain roadblocks while starting gaming

Step 1: KeyChain Extension

The first thing to note is there is no mobile version for the game MoonKarts](https://moonkarts.arcadecolony.com/) maybe in the coming month there will be but for now it's not. So that leaves us with starting the game using a PC Browser,

You'll need to install the keychain extension on chrome. This was where i got my first roadblock, after installation When i input my username and click on keychain it shows i am unable to login because my posting key is not imputed on keychain.

What I did to resolve this is; I opened the keychain extension on the chrome browser, went to accounts then clicked on managed accounts. In there I saw the keys that were not imputed such as the posting key and memo key I had to input both.

Take note: To launch MoonKarts](https://moonkarts.arcadecolony.com/) and carry out activities on ArcadeColony the posting key is required for keychain to carry out any activities done within the colony.

Well since that is settled if everything is done right and if your PC is compatible for the game you won't experience any issues after this you might as well just login straight ahead and viola am in…

You'll see your first claim like this

Step 2: Granting Authorities

When you click on that Race button Keychain will automatically grant authorities to access the game, again if all goes well you'll find yourself in a loading box.

Now this was my second roadblock, it usually takes some time to load but not much, so if it takes too long and that white bar is not moving, we can say maybe the network you're using is not smart enough, you might probably want to change Network to a smarter one or again maybe your device or browser is not compatible of which you will be alerted.

I was experiencing some delay here, so I decided to switch to a faster network and it loads up pretty smoothly.

So if all goes as planned you'll see your first Loot claim otherwise check your network provided or PC compatibility

You should be in your dashboard now, but you'll need just two things to start playing this game in the single player mood and that is

• A Kart

• A Player

Of the same rarity, with this two items you can play in the single player mood just to get your hands straight, once you've mastered those tracks you can then jump on to the Multiplayer mood where you'll need to stack some amount of #SCRIPT token in other to produce fuel and participate in the game.

Note that the single player mood is just for fun though you are playing it to master the game and you wont get any rewards out of it. But when you dive deeper into the multiplayer mood it gives you a wide variety of upgrading your rarity, equipping items just to win and so much more.

Oh well! Not to bore you or anything and since this post is already longer than my arm, I won't go into details of the things needed at the later game, I think I'll do that as I dive deeper into the game.

But if you just starting out the 2 most important things you need is a Kart and a player and the only way you can get it is to purchase it for a mere fee at the ArcadeColony market square, probably in my next post I'll dive deeper into how to get on the race track but for now what's the need of a player and a kart if you can't access the game?

Remember to go slow and learn on the way, rushing things might get you confuse and drain up, deep a toe in before diving whole in
