Saturday is here again and like every other weekend I decided to do the general cleaning of my apartment, I started with the kitchen then moved to the room and passage then to the bathroom and front yard, it was kind of stressful though but I made sure I did everything then did a bit of laundry cuz I washed during the week so it wasn’t hard to do. After the cleaning I had my bath and dressed up even while dressing I was feeling the pressure of boredom and I’m like I don’t wanna go out today though a close friend of mine sewa invited me to go the mall today cuz we go out together especially during weekends but this weekend is not like others I’m in a tight budget and I don’t want to do impulse, that’s even if I go at all so I didn’t want to sound somehow so I gave excuse of having a lot to do. After the whole thing I was feeling hungry and I don’t want to eat anything beans related this weekend so I was going through the stuff in my kitchen cuz I like making something rare during weekends so I decided to bake a mini cake after all I’ve been craving cake if recent so I went out to get the little things I don’t have at home cuz I do a lot of baking when I’m free though I’ve not done it in months but I have some equipments and ingredients for the cake then I got them and started.

The first step before starting is to rinse all equipments before use and after that you put your margarine in a bowl depending on the quantity of the cake, for my cake I used two sachets and one and half cup of sugar, then the whisking that means you’ll mix it like whisk it well.

The next step is the eggs, for this particular cake I used four eggs and you have to break the eggs in a separate bowl and whisk it before adding it to the mixture in order to avoid mistakes then you whisk it again and again in order to have a smooth texture then you add your flavor, for my recipe I’m using vanilla flavor you can use any flavor you want then after that you put milk in order to keep the texture and to avoid egg smell in your cake then you whisk again.

The next step is adding of flour to the mixture then you whisk well, note that you have to be intentional about the whisking in order to prevent thick substances in your cake snd if you have an electric whisker it’s fine too just make sure you whisk till it’s smooth I mean really smooth.

The next step is to put margarine or butter in your pan in for easy removal after putting the margarine you make sure to put flour inside the pan to make sure the flour touches every part of the pan in order to prevent it from being stuck to the pan. After the flour you’ll pour your mixture into the pan and leave it for some time depending on the type of oven you’re using although I’m not s professional so I don’t know the degree to set it but it’s good after that you’ll put the stuff inside the cake yo know if it’s fully done, when I checked it wasn’t read so I had to wait for some time and when it was ready I put the board on top of it and turned it upside down and removed the cake and it was really fluffy and soft and the taste was so yummy and I backed it up with pineapple juice and I had a great feast and shared with my neighbor cuz the cake is kind of big and I completed my task for the day.
