
Recently we have seen substantial growth and considerable advancement in regards to our project. I consulted the P.R.O to provide us with the statistics of our advancement in our social media platforms. The student council instagram page has an additional net growth following of 0.7 percent. Though the numbers are small, they are encouraging and the statistic assured us that we are indeed growing. I presented screenshots to my lecturer that comprised of the councils instagram page data visualisations and engagement analytics roughly around the beginning of our arrival and collaboration with the media team with the purpose of fulfilling the mandate i was assigned.
we had planned to make the following concepts for the last few weeks till departure which was a composition of Christmas episodes.
Meet students and ask them questions revolving around Christianity and Christmas.
Complete the lyric video: students will finish the lyric of a particular Christmas song.
Departure video asking students what Christmas means to them.
We have completed all the videos we planned on making as well as the editing and plan to post them on separate days consecutively over the holdiay to ensure algorithmic favorability and avoid overwhelming our viewers. This tactic is the best optimisation method that we came up with
In contrast to our instagram page, our tik tok page that we had made with permission from the P.R.O has garnered a lot of attraction and engagement. Over the course of 6 days our first post has gained 2,222 plays and 273 likes. As of now we have a total of 44 followers and 344 likes. Our efforts in the production of these videos were indeed a hassle, but worth the price.
