Money

I had a friend in university, and we met on the first day he came to school. When we were having a conversation, he said he doesn’t like the school and he’s not going to spend a lot of time in school, and before the semester finish this guy moved to another school to study nursing. He moved to a private university to study nursing and when I called my friend to ask how he did it, I remember what he said “he said my daddy made it happen”.

I also wish to study nursing, but I knew my mom could not afford it and this has always been some people’s reality. They can change from what they don’t like to what they like anytime and this is because they have the resources. They are so comfortable. The power money gives them is the ability to choose. Also, the power to have options. This is one of those things a lot of people lack when you don’t have money, you will be limited to certain options just as I was limited to continuing with what I was studying. It’s because I knew I couldn’t afford the options.

The reason

People make money for different reasons, some people make money just to oppress people. Some people make money just to stay away from poverty, but for me, I really want to make money just because of the options it gives me. Money doesn’t limit you It gives you options to choose from things that you want and things that you don’t want. We have a lot of people who can’t even speak for themselves just because if they were to do the only option they have will be taken away and that will be the end of them.

Some people will call such money “fuck you money”. Why you make so much money is because it gives you power not to bow to anybody. It helps and protects you from making bad decisions and also protects your dignity because it will be easier for you to reject the things that you see that are not right and to follow only the things that are right. Without money, it is always difficult to make some of these decisions. Your options will be limited, and sometimes lack of money can also affect your morals. It also limits your expressions, you find it difficult to express yourself.

That’s why we tell people to do everything in their power to make money. You might not be very very rich, but it’s good to have money to the extent that you know you are secure and you know that with your money you could make any decision you want with your life. Money gives you options and limitless opportunities but without money everything becomes scarce
