Drama with my colleagues

Today is the main day which is the day we’ve all been anticipating,we’ve all been rehearsing,I mean my colleagues and I,we put in so much efforts and strength in order to make this day a memorable one. today we are doing and performing the drama we’ve been practicing,everything we planned went as planned and even the costumes were brought even though it took too.

We all gathered at the multipurpose building and did a little arrangement and all gathered to URP.The introduction was done by Ade,a girl from the chorus,she talked about what the book entailed and it’s morals,after the introduction,the dancers got on stage and I’m among them,I was in the front row and I danced and got the crowd shouting,so many people came,people from other departments and various lecturers were present even the director was present and they all cheered me up,we got the main characters and they acted perfectly,it’s actually a tragicomedy and a very interesting one to be precise,we acted perfectly and were all happy. although i had confidence in my performance i was still bit skeptical on how i would actually act and how everything would all play out. Thankfully things went great. we all took pictures,I took a lot of pictures with lecturers and characters and it was really nice. At the end all this I was really impressed and not just my other course mates and those who participated but by myself. Who would’ve known I’ll be such a great actor and dancer.

After this we returned to our various dressing rooms accordingly. I felt proud of all the appreciation and applause we received and I was glad to say that our previous practices and collaborative efforts was worthwhile up untill this moment. I also applaud and appreciated my course mates on their good work and all hugged each other and smiled. Although today was l very physically and mentally draining, Everybody was as satisfied as I was and I’m glad to say that today was an indeed spectacular.

Thanks to my team and everyone involved we executed the play tremendously and each and every person played their part accordingly and with enthusiasm.
