Today, I’ll be talking about how important “Customer Service” is when it comes to business.
I’m the type who buys things a lot online, and I can boldly say that 20 out of the vendors I have patronized only two of them have good customer service, and I have always gone back to patronize them.
When it comes to good customer service so many business owners especially online don’t have good customer service. And, good customer service starts from how a customer or an intending customer is being attended to.
I have messaged more than 10 vendors and their approach has been nothing but cold. For example, not once, not even twice have I messaged a vendor with “Hello good morning ma’am” and the vendor just replied with “Good morning, what do you want to buy”. To be honest, I do not get to reply to vendors like this anymore I don’t even bother to buy anything after getting a response like that.
Good customer service should always start with a good and approachable response to help. Good customer service does nothing but yield sales and not just sales but returning customer sales. When a business owner has good customer service it creates a good experience. A business owner has to be friendly and approachable which will create a welcoming atmosphere.
Good customer service does a lot, to be honest. As for me, I’m sure so many people who have experienced good customer service will always do the same. Once I patronize a person who has good customer service, I would always recommend and also refer people to their services. Good customer service builds nothing but high retention, customer satisfaction, and a good reputation.
Good customer service is about making customers happy and making them remember their experience. It is about going above and beyond to help them and making them feel valued. It is also about showing empathy, responding quickly, and genuinely wanting to help. As for some people who employ a business account handler, some of them are not approachable at all. It is just about giving employees the tools to deliver great service and creating a better experience which will lead to loyal customers who tell others about your business, which helps you grow.
In conclusion, Good customer service is very important for businesses today. It is not just a good thing to do, it is for the business to thrive. If a business takes care of its customers, they will come back again and again, tell their friends about the business, and help it grow.
