Beyond education

Education isn’t enough to beat the realism of today’s concurrent standards.

In our country, education is perceived as a leeway that paves way for a number of opportunities. Academic literacy is regarded as the key factor that determines success in life. Though we can argue that to a great extent that these truth holds weight, there are many other factors contributing to a life of success. Academic achievement is only half of it.

Confidence and the ability to articulate yourself proportionally in an increasingly social-oriented environment brings more opportunities than any other skill. Communicating well allows us to influence others positively , change opinions and shed your sense of charisma to others which is an attraction to most. Many people value individuals who talk with charisma and this ability to navigate yourself accordingly brings you much more leverage then you’d expect.

In addition to this, social networking and mutual relationships also establish great opportunities. People who naturally deem themselves as “introverts” are only setting themselves up for a life of disappointment. There is a staggering statistic which states that relationships, friendships and the likes is what kickstarted successful careers. One will simply fall short in life if they don’t expand their social circle and interact with others. It is this way that people eventually find jobs simply from spontaneous or random social interactions.

Never be scared to take the initiative. Luck isn’t as uncertain as most people think. It exists. But it only reveals itself to those who are prepared. Whether it’s a business venture, idle art concept or a simple thought experiment that you’re anticipating to turn into a reality, start it as soon as you can. Success doesn’t wait. Even if it fails, you can find solace in knowing that at least it will add to your story. Conquering your circumstances and succeeding in life doesn’t come through easy. It comes through triumph, pain and last but not least, suffering. It’s what makes that feeling of joy feel so powerful. Because you know how much you went to through to achieve it.
