Being a man

Perfection may not be realistically feasible. Because it’s far from what we are capable of being. But just because we can’t be perfect doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive towards it. Near perfection is what the goal should be. And as a man accustoming yourself with integrity and upmost respect already constitutes perfectionism.

The most common form of self belittlement and devaluation as a man is losing your sense of worth to the urges of the flesh. In our modern era, Many men are encouraged to seek multiple partners and relationships, not just because of the inflated dating sphere and perverse nature of hook up culture, but because biologically men’s Inherent nature is to seek a partner, or as stated in the bible, “To be fruitful and multiply”. However this doesn’t translate into an acceptance of polygamous relationships and the likes. Controlling our urges and confining in a soulmate who bares our children is what gives the most satisfaction in life as a man.

In contrast, life begins when we realise that once our physical, emotional and mental state are mastered, our external environment and social structures become favourable. As a man these qualities of ourselves must be emphasised and strictly maintained. A man who doesn’t take care of his physical state or hygiene can’t expect to be respected by others because not caring for yourself in this way signals you don’t have self respect. Obesity signals unhealthiness. And such a trait isn’t desirable or respected. a negative attitude, angst, lack of charisma, and bad social skills are traits that are not favoured and therefore need to be mastered.

Preach to yourself that you are to be respected and appreciated. You don’t start living until you have an ego. No rich/famous man or woman walks on earth not telling themselves they deserved it. Ambition creates wealth. Strife for being greater brings opportunity.

Until you consistently recognise your value and act accordingly to it, you can never find purpose or fulfilment.
