Be a voice

On a serious note I like independent people I like people that can stand up for themselves, people that can defend themselves and defend what they’re standing for some people will say things that they can’t defend,doing things that they can’t stand for, what I mean is these days people sit on the fence and those who don’t sit on the fence they say things and when they hear from someone else they switch we have situations like this in every setting schools,churches and even workplaces whereby people live behind shadows they are echoes and not voices,well sometimes people also follow the crowd they go for what others go for, they move with the flow, in every decision we make and every step we take we should always know what is right and what is wrong just like when a particular lecture was going on last week and then we were treating objectification and subjugation of women in Nigeria,Africa and the world at large so this particular topic led to fight for equality and I’m like there’s no need for fight for equality because as a woman you don’t expect to be equal with a man but some ladies in the class were now talking because a girl has already laid the ground for the argument, because the girl is well spoken and whatever she was able to have some people on her side and when we were discussing equality we were able to trace it all the way to the creation story and some were arguing that men are superior although I wasn’t supporting any group but I feel that if we want to balance it we can say men are superior and women are assistants and are not meant to be objectified or seen as an asset or property so root of the argument is the poem” my last duchess “ so this particular poem is about the duke of Ferrara who killed his duchess because of the way she smiles and her good heart he felt that he was sharing her smile with other people and the not only him, he feels that since he’s the duke and her husband with a nine hundred years old name she was meant to show her smile to him and no one else, he gets to decide who she smiles at and who not to and because she smiled to everyone he killed her so the people who are saying women are meant to be equal with men they were wrong cuz who’s ready to divide the responsibility of the family 50/50 with their husbands but so many people didn’t think of that they’re were just supporting a point with no head and as a scholar you must have a valid reason for making or stating a point because women can never be equal to men even in the physical strength level and when I made this particular point someone opposed and said if a boy and a girl are born and they go through the same things and even did the same exercises that they’ll be equality in their strength and I was explaining that it’s not
possible because we don’t even have the same way, women are created by God to be gentle although I won’t use the word fragile but we’re just calm and all.

All that caught my attention was the team that were just screaming and yelling for things that they know not they just heard people talking and decided to go with the flow but I’ll advise that no matter the situation in life you should learn to stand on your own with your valid point be a voice and not an echo and this will help a lot of people and the society at large.
