Opening some Major Chests before the Season ends

With the Holiday Season I haven't had much time to dedicate to Splinterlands this season, so my earnings are low and I'll probably have a bit of a loss since my earnings so far only pay for the Battle Pass. I'm also a bit disappointed with my current strategy because my in-game profit is very low and I intend to change it to play in higher leagues to increase my SPS and Glint earnings and to do so I intend to rent more powerful cards and also rent a larger amount of SPS.

My current focus with Glint is to increase my Soulbound card collection, I think this is the best strategy at the moment because the only tradable items in the rewards store are Titles and their Glint value is too high for me to target right now, so I prefer to increase my Soulbound collection since they will be useful in ranked battles and increase my chances of winning.

To increase my Soulbound collection I have the options of Rarity Draws and Loot Chests. The Rarity Draw option would be a good choice because in them I would choose the rarity of the card I want to win and I would only win cards, but I prefer the Loot Chests because in addition to getting cards I also have the chance to get extra energy and jackpot. The extra energy gain will be very beneficial to increase my SPS and Glint gains in the season since I will battle more often, so the Loot Chests are the best choice in my opinion.

My gains so far have been small due to my lack of time this season and also because of my bad strategy, but I managed to get enough Glint to open 55 Major Chests so far and today I managed to get a little more to open another 20 Major Chests.

With this amount of Glint I also have the option of opening 4 Ultimate Chests or 102 Minor Chests, but I will choose the Major Chests because the chances of winning cards, energy and jackpot are higher.

Most of the Major Chests I opened previously were with the end of season gain from the previous season, so my total Glint gain so far this season is only 62,766 Glint.

Unfortunately this time I was unlucky since in most of the chests I gained potions and merits, my energy gain was also low and I only got 2 energy, but I did gain some good cards that will be very useful to increase my Soulbound collection, especially the Dragon Egg Forager which I consider a great card.
