Opening Chaos Legion Packs in Splinterlands

Today I felt like opening packs in Splinterlands to test my luck and because I think it's fun, but I didn't want to spend a lot so I bought the cheapest ones currently, which are the Chaos Legion packs.

First I went to Hive Engine to see the price of the Chaos Legion packs and I noticed that they had gone up a bit since the last time I bought them. Before I was lucky enough to get them for less than $0.30 each pack and now I'm paying $0.39 for each one. It's still a good price so I decided to buy 4 packs to test my luck and also to end this urge I have to open packs.

After buying the packs I just need to transfer them to the game and this part is very simple, I just need to go to where the packs are on the Splinterlands website, look for the Chaos Legion packs and select the Transfer section.

When I get to this part, I just need to select Hive Engine to In Game and enter the number of packs I want to transfer, in my case, 4 packs.

After waiting a few seconds, a message saying that I received the packs will appear and that's it, the packs will be in my Splinterlands account and I can open them.

An important tip is to always have Alchemy potions and Legendary potions when opening the packs because they will be very useful.

Alchemy potions will increase my chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
Legendary potions will increase my chances of getting Legendary cards.

With the packs in the account and the potions too, I already have all the preparations to open the packs and now let's see how my luck is today.

I wasn't lucky enough to get a Gold Foil legendary card or even a legendary card, but I did get 2 Gold Foil cards and some great regular cards so it wasn't a bad pack opening, but unfortunately the total value of the cards I got in these 4 packs is lower than the amount I spent buying the packs, so it would have been more profitable if I had bought the cards directly on the market.

Opening packs depends on luck and so far I've been unlucky every time I've opened them, so I think it would be best to buy the cards on the market to build my Chaos Legion collection or open a large amount of packs to see if I have more luck.

For those who are curious, I paid $1.56 for the packs and the total value of the cards I got was $0.68 so my loss was $0.88.

Despite having a loss, I always try to be optimistic about getting a Gold Foil legendary card and if I could get one of these then all the losses I've already had opening packs would have been compensated, but the day to get it wasn't today.
