Splinterlands - Community Engagement Challenge - Strategy For Reverse Speed Ruleset

Happy Monday to all and a great week ahead :) It's been a great start to the week and I am still catching up on last week's Community Engagement Challenge with this ne and the theme for this week is all about the strategies and here I am sharing a battle by building strategy for reverse speed ruleset!!!

Yes. reverse speed is One of the most loved rulesets by me since the days of Yodin Zaku, but, unfortunately, I can't use the same in modern battle format as it is now allowed since it is part of Untamed edition.

But that doesn't stops us from building strategy for the reverse speed ruleset and we some awesome monsters in Earth splinter and here I am sharing the battle with that.

Reverse speed ruleset, as the name suggests, monsters with lowest speed get to attack First and hence, we use mostly monsters with 1 or 2 speed in this ruleset battles and without further delay, let me share the battle details for this and I will explain with each monster why I used it in that position.

Well, this was a battle with close range and tis but scratches rulesets apart from reverse speed ruleset and since there was 57 MANA cap available to be used, I used the monsters as below with Mycelic Infantry at the First position considering it's 1 speed and giant killer ability.

Lineup:

1. Mycelic Infantry:

Reverse speed battle means, I normally use Earth splinter and this monster is my favorite to be used in front position because of it's armors, shield ability along with giant killer ability.

Considering 57 MANA cap, we can expect huge MANA monsters to be used and giant killer makes it more suitable for this battle.

2. Magi of Chaos:

Another monster with less speed as this One is with 2 speed and it has 4 magic attack and oppress ability makes it to attack with double the normal attack if it attacks a monster with no attack.

3. Doctor Blight:

Doctor Blight is the favorite for reverse speed battles as it's just with 1 speed and more than that, it has scavenger ability and can also poison and afflict a monster to reduce health.

4. Goblin Psychic:

Goblin Psychic is another monster with 1 speed and it's 2 magic attack is useful besides it's tank heal ability and it even reduces the magic attack by 1 from opponent's monsters due to silence ability.

5. Uloth Dhampir:

I initially thought of using Mycelic Slipspawn in last position, but decided against that as that monster has slow ability and that will be a disadvantage for me. So that intial thought of using Mycelic Slipspawn made me t use this Uloth Dhampir in this position which is another low speed monster with triage ability to heal the Second line monsters and it has 4 ranged attack and in tandem with Goblin Tower, this can take out a monster in each round.

6. Goblin Tower:

Last monster in my lineup is the monster of Goblin Tower which is One more 1 speed monster with 5 ranged attack and more importantly, it is a blast ability monster to attack 2 monsters in each round.

The Mycelic Slipspawn monster usage by opponent made all my monsters to reduce their speed by 1 and all of those with 1 speed are get to attack First and that means, I have the advantage of attacking First and combo of Mycelic Infantry, Uloth Dhamir and Goblin Tower ensured opponent's front monster of Terraceous Hulk will be removed early.

Mycelic Infantry was always vulnerable against magic attack, but it was the new monster in the block Riklauniman who took out the Mycelif Infantry with it's dual attack of melee and ranged.

The remaining monsters from opponent's lineup got removed very fast and it was a good win for me in this reverse speed battle with monsters with lesser speed having the last laugh.

The rulesets are always fun and reverse speed is the One I enjoy with using low speed monsters and I hope you got to know something from this battle and with the strategy used.
