Hive Milestone - 10K Hive Power Milestone Reached!!!

When we start on something new, we always start at Zero and as we gain experience on that particular thing, it starts becoming easy and my Hive journey is exactly similar to this!!!

Back in 2017, I started my Hive journey upon referral by a Nigerian nice guy who tipped me about this Blockchain in return to help on getting a software installation.

That First step of joining this Blockchain in 2017 with 7 years of journey has taken me to 10K Hive Power and just to remind you, everything I have out of that 10K is solely from the blogging returns and curation rewards without a single Hive powered up so far as for as I remember.

But, I have planned to power up some hive now as I have set myself an year end goal of 12K Hive Power and still 2K is required to be staked.

I still remember the struggle I had to go thru when I stared on Hive (the Steemit when I joined) and even though I was actively writing blogs, commenting on others posts and was voting with my little voting power, the progress was very slow as I wasn't having many friends.

But, once I started being part of Stewards of Gondor program, I made some good friends and that delegation of 5K (from fulltimegeek) helped me a lot to earn some good amount of Hive from curation and also my blogging activity started picking up with some more returns from blogs.

But, it all started going more higher and higher when Splinterlands game started in 2019 and then the support from Splinterlands community made me grow more faster although the support was only for 2 blogs per week.

Even now, if I see the rewards on blogs, 2 blogs will always stand out with rewards on blogging and those will be Splinterlands related Ones :).

But, things are slowly changing as I am making new friends now because of the threads on InLeo and that is a real positive for me as I see some support from Leo community along with more friends being gained from Leo community.

Overall, it's been a great journey for me on Hive Blockchain and it is an integral part of my daily routine now and Splinterlands and threads on InLeo will just make it a complete for me.

Over the years, what I learned and what I got to know from others is that, engagement is the most important thing to grow on any activity and on Hive Blockchain also, the same holds good.

If I am saying good morning to someone, I see more smiling faces with a good morning returned and there is no loss for me to just wish my friends on Hive and it keeps making me happy and brings smiles on faces of my friends and that is more important for me as I grow here and I will be continuing that as I move along.

As someone said, happiness grows by sharing and I am just trying to do that with this blog and with all my blogs :)

Coming back to the Hive Power milestone, I know I am not that fast to reach that milestone and not even too slow to be there, we all have things to do every day and along with that, we try to spend some time on Hive, Splinterlands and other things and that 10K HP in 7 years is not a bad On for someone like me who had to be away from Hive for many years due to the corporate job commitments and I am happy that I could now spend some more time and be part of those rewards earners everyday :)

There are many people who deserve the vote of thanks from me in their contribution for me to earn the Hive as every vote counts towards this milestone no matter whether it's 3+ HBD worth vote from Splinterlands or just 0.001 HBD worth vote from a newly joined Hiver, everything counts and and everything is part of this 10K HP milestone for me and I would like to thank and each and everyone who supported me all thru these days.

It's just that, I do not want to spam it here every time I reach a milestone, instead, I think it's better to send a vote of thanks as a common One for all :)

Once again, would like to thanks all the support, suggestions, feedbacks, guidelines I received all thru this journey of me on Hive and I will be happy to receive all those feedbacks and support as always.
