the sad part is they don't reject the financial help, they pretend they don't know what is going on. A guy helps you to sort some bills and also gives you attention beyond the ordinary and you still think he wants just friendship, of course they know yet will act like they don't...

Indeed. They don't seem to reject the help and sometimes they live in the pretense that they don't even see what you're doing.
