Just Won a 5k+ HP Delegation: Now Curating With Over 25k HP!
Being able to delegate your Hive Power is one of the many possibilities offered by Hive.
By delegating your HP to another user or project, they don’t become its owner—the delegation is essentially a loan—but they can use it as if it were theirs: they can earn more curation rewards, perform more actions on the chain thanks to having more resource credits, or use it to obtain more tokens for creating new accounts.
As long as the delegation lasts, the account receiving it can operate as if it had more HP than it actually owns.
On the other hand, those who delegate their HP lose the ability to receive the curation rewards generated by that HP and end up with fewer resource credits.
Delegating your HP can therefore be done in exchange for compensation—where the receiver pays a fee to the one providing the HP—or for free, perhaps to support an account you like or to reward participants in a giveaway.
Forykw
This second option is the one chosen by @forykw, one of the Hivers I’ve followed the longest, who for many years has been running a truly generous giveaway: participants can win substantial delegations and ATX tokens.
Participating is easy: you just need to interact with @forykw’s monthly post dedicated to Power Up Day and remember to leave a comment containing the word ATX.
After 7 days, 5 winners are drawn, and if you meet the participation requirements, you can win a minimum delegation of 1000 HP.
If you also own certain NFTs created by @forykw, the prize can increase… and not by a small amount!
Over the years, I’ve won this giveaway 7 times, steadily increasing the number of ATX tokens I own and buying more and more NFTs eligible for the contest—NFTs that cost just a few cents each.
Each time the delegation I won was larger than the previous one, but with this seventh win I received a truly unexpected reward: thanks to the NFTs I recently purchased, the delegation I won exceeded 5000 HP!
A truly enormous amount that will allow me to earn curation rewards of about 37.5 HP.
With a value of just under 4 dollars, these rewards alone will repay all the NFTs I bought… and that’s without counting the 6 delegations I’ve won in the past… and all the ATX tokens I’ve received!
In short, the giveaway organized by @forykw is extremely generous and, thanks to him, throughout the month of December I’ll be able to curate other users’ content with over 25,000 HP.

Poter delegare il proprio Hive Power è una delle tante possibilità offerte da Hive.
Delegando i propri HP ad un altro utente, o ad un progetto, questo non ne diventa proprietario - la delega è equiparabile ad un prestito - ma può utilizzarli come se fossero suoi: può quindi guadagnare più curation rewards, oppure compiere più attività sulla chian grazie ad un maggior numero di resource credits, o sfruttarli per ottenerr più token per la creazione di nuovi account.
Finché la delega dura, l'account che la riceve può operare come se avesse più HP di quelli che effettivamente ha.
Viceversa, chi delega i propri HP perde la possibilità di ottenere le curation rewards da questi generati e si ritrova con meno resource credits.
Delegare i propri HP può quindi essere fatto in cambio di un corrispettivo - dove chi riceve gli HP paga una somma a chi li presta - oppure gratuitamente, magari per supportare un account che ci piace oppure per premiare i partecipanti ad un giveaway.

È questa seconda la strada scelta da @forykw, uno degli Hivers che seguo da più tempo e che ormai da tanti anni organizza un giveaway davvero generoso: i partecipanti infatti possono ottenere in premio ricche deleghe e token ATX.
Partecipare è semplice: basta interagire con il post mensile di @forykw dedicato al Power Up Day ricordarsi di lasciare un commento contenente la parola ATX.
Dopo 7 giorni vengono estratti 5 vincitori e, se si rispettano i requisiti di partecipazione, si può vincere una delega minima di 1000 HP.
Se poi si possiedono alcuni NFTs creati da @forykw il premio può salire... e non di poco!
Nel corso degli anni ho vinto questo giveaway 7 volte, aumentando sempre più il numero di token ATX che possiedo ed acquistando sempre più NFTs validi ai fini del contest - NFTs che costano qualche manciata di centesimi l'uno.
Ogni volta la delega che ho vinto è stata sempre più grande, ma con questa settima vittoria mi sono trovato ad un premio davvero inaspettato: grazie agli NFTs che ho comprato recentemente, la delega che ho vinto è arrivata infatti a superare i 5000 HP!
Un quantitativo davvero enorme che mi consentirà di ottenere curation rewards per circa 37.5 HP.
Con un controvalore di poco meno di 4 dollari già solo queste ricompense ripagheranno tutti gli NFTs che ho comprato... e questo senza contare le 6 deleghe che ho vinto in passato... e tutti i token ATX che ho ricevuto!
Insomma, il giveaway organizzato da @forykw è estremamente generoso e grazie a lui per tutto il mese di Dicembre sarò in grado di curare i contenuti degli altri utenti con oltre 25.000 HP.
