To celebrate the end of 2025 and the start of the new year, a few days ago @keychain and @hivecreators organized a giveaway on X (formerly Twitter), with 200 HIVE up for grabs, split evenly—100 each—between two lucky winners.

I talked about it on December 31 in this post, explaining how to take part. The rules were very simple—as is often the case with these contests on X.

Today, a few days after my participation, while I was checking a few things on my profile, I noticed I had 100 HIVE more than expected… and after a moment of reflection, I realized that I had probably won!

So I went over to X to check my notifications… and found the confirmation I was looking for:

2026 decided to start off on the right foot, gifting me this welcome prize: 100 HIVE added to my liquid HIVE reserves — which I’m holding while waiting for a rise in HIVE’s value that still hasn’t arrived 😅

Along with me, @seki1 also won, and I’d like to offer my congratulations.

The prize was sent to me today by @hivecreators and gave me the perfect excuse to write this post, through which I wanted to thank @keychain and @hivecreators for this welcome gift.

Almost at 4,000 liquid HIVE

With this prize, I’m getting even closer to having 4,000 HIVE set aside, which used to be one of my goals.

In fact, 4,000 HIVE was the maximum amount that could be converted on BeeSwap, the bridge I used the most together with my script related to HIVE and SWAP.HIVE tokens.

However, BeeSwap has now shut down this conversion feature, so my original goal no longer has a reason to exist…

Luckily, accumulating liquid HIVE still has a purpose—or rather, a double purpose.

On the one hand, I can still use my script on uSwap.

On the other hand, the original reason for holding liquid HIVE was to be able to take advantage of any increase in HIVE’s price: it’s true that this didn’t happen in 2025… but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen in 2026!

The more liquid HIVE I have available, the better I’ll be able to take advantage of both of these opportunities.

On top of that, it’s possible that in 2026 I’ll slow down my publishing activity, so having an extra 100 HIVE already in my wallet is a small but important help in making sure I can continue to grow even if my author rewards were to start declining.

Per festeggiare la fine del 2025 e l'inizio del nuovo anno @keychain e @hivecreators hanno organizzato alcuni giorni fa un giveaway su X (ex Twitter) con in palio 200 HIVE da suddividersi, 100 a testa, tra due fortunati vincitori.

Ne ho parlato proprio il 31 dicembre in questo post spiegando le modalità di partecipazione, che erano davvero semplici - come spesso accade in questi contest su X.

Oggi, dopo alcuni giorni dalla mia partecipazione, mentre controllavo alcune cose sul mio profilo, mi sono accorto di avere 100 HIVE di troppo... e, dopo un attimo di riflessione, ho realizzato che probabilmente avevo vinto!

Sono così andato su X a controllare le mie notifiche... e ho trovato la conferma che cercavo:

Il 2026 ha voluto subito iniziare bene, regalandomi questo gradito premio: 100 HIVE che si aggiungono alla mia riserva di HIVE liquidi - che conservo in attesa di un aumento del valore di HIVE che continua a non arrivare mai 😅

Oltre a me ha vinto anche @seki1, a cui faccio le congratulazioni.

Il premio mi è stato inviato proprio oggi da @hivecreators e mi ha così fornito lo spunto per scrivere questo post, con il quale volevo ringraziare @keychain e @hivecreators per questo gradito regalo.

Quasi a 4000 HIVE liquidi

Con questo premio mi avvicino ulteriormente ad avere da parte 4000 HIVE, che un tempo era il mio obiettivo.

4000 HIVE era infatti l'importo massimo che era possibile convertire su BeeSwap, il bridge che utilizzavo maggiormente con il mio script relativo ai token HIVE e SWAP.HIVE.

Tuttavia, BeeSwap ha ormai chiuso tale funzionalità di conversione, per cui il mio iniziale obiettivo non ha più ragione di esistere...

Per fortuna che accumulare HIVE liquidi ha ancora uno scopo o, meglio, un duplice scopo.

Da una parte, infatti, posso ancora utilizzare il mio script su uSwap.

Dall'altra, la funzione originaria di detenere degli HIVE liquidi era quella di poter sfruttare eventuali aumenti nel prezzo di HIVE: è vero questi non sono avvenuti nel 2025... ma non è detto che non arrivino nel 2026!

Tanti più HIVE liquidi avrò a disposizione, tanto meglio potrò sfruttare entrambe queste opportunità.

Inoltre è possibile che nel 2026 rallenterò la mia attività di pubblicazione, per cui avere già 100 HIVE nel mio portafoglio è un piccolo ma importante aiuto per assicurarmi di riuscire a continuare a crescere anche ove le mie ricompense da autore dovessero cominciare a venire meno.
