Conclave Arcana Archons Are Holding Their Ground
With the goal of strengthening my collection and increasing my rental income, I’ve had my eye on the rare Archons from the Conclave Arcana set for a while now.
These Archons, in addition to being the only ones with the new Bloodline Dominion ability—which allows you to deploy cards belonging to the same race regardless of their color—are also almost the only ones available in the Conclave Arcana set. In fact, besides them, there is currently only one Legendary-type Archon available, with a much higher price.
These Archons are therefore clearly a perfect fit for me and blend seamlessly into my rental strategy focused on Archons playable in the Modern format.
Their only drawback is the price, which is quite high.
I need more DEC!
Up until now, the price of each of these Archons has firmly remained in a range between $1.30 and $2.
Over time, I expected to see these prices drop, since Archons are among the cards that can be found in starter packs, which are not only inexpensive (they have a price of 1 dollari per pack) but also have unlimited print runs.
However, that’s not what’s happening.
The Archons from the Conclave Arcana set are not only failing to decrease in value, but are actually becoming more expensive.
This, combined with the value of DEC being quite below its peg, is making things more complicated for me, increasingly raising the amount of DEC I would need to have in order to purchase all six Archons at level 2, which is my target.
My initial estimate was that I’d need about 50k DEC to complete the purchase of these cards.
Today, that figure is definitely higher—over 60k DEC.
Still far too much compared to what I currently have.
My budget is currently 89 HIVE, coming from the conversion of 20k DEC.
At the current price, this means I have just over 23k DEC available… a little more than 1/3 of what I need.
It’s true, I’ve definitely made some progress—especially since renting out my cards continues to go very well, allowing me to add about another 6k DEC per month to my wallet—but it’s still not enough.
What I really need is a nice pump in the price of HIVE, so I can drastically reduce the gap between what I have and what I need.
In the meantime, the only thing I can keep doing is making periodic conversions from DEC to HIVE, increasing the chances that a sudden spike in the latter’s value will be enough for me to reach my goal.
Adding those Archons to my collection is a priority for me and would greatly help make Splinterlands an increasingly important part of my portfolio.
With those cards, I could generate—or at least come very close to generating—10k DEC per month, enough to start setting some even more ambitious goals.

Gli Arconti Conclave Arcana Resistono
Con l'obiettivo di potenziare la mia collezione ed incrementare gli introiti da noleggio, è da un po' che ho messo gli occhi sugli Arconti rari del set Conclave Arcana.
Questi Arconti, oltre ad essere gli unici dotati della nuova abilità Bloodline Dominion, che consente di schierare carte appartenenti alla stessa razza, a prescindere dal loro colore, sono anche praticamente gli unici disponibili nel set Conclave Arcana: oltre a loro, infatti, è attualmente disponibile solo un Arconte di tipo Leggendario, dal costo ben più alto.
Questi Arconti fanno perciò chiaramente al caso mio e si inseriscono perfettamente nella mia strategia di noleggio incentrata sugli Arconti giocabili nel Modern format.
Il loro unico difetto è il costo, che è abbastanza elevato.
Mi serve più DEC!
Sino ad oggi infatti il costo di ognuno di questi Arconti si è saldamente mantenuto in un range che va da 1,30 dollari a 2 dollari.
Con il tempo mi aspettavo di vedere questi valori calare, dato che gli Arconti sono fra le carte che è possibile trovare negli starter packs, che, oltre ad poco costosi (costano solo 1 dollaro a pacchetto), sono anche a tiratura illimitata.
Tuttavia non è quello che sta succedendo.
Gli Arconti del set Conclave Arcana, infatti, non solo non stanno diminuendo di valore ma, anzi, stanno anche diventando più cari.
Questo, combinato con il valore di DEC abbastanza al di sotto del suo peg, sta rendendo le cose più complicate per me, aumentando sempre più il quantitativo di DEC che dovrei avere a disposizione per poter acquistare tutti e sei gli Arconti al livello 2, che è quello a cui punto.
La mia stima iniziale prevedeva che avessi bisogno di circa 50k DEC per poter completare l'acquisto di queste carte.
Oggi questo valore è sicuramente più alto, superiore ai 60k DEC.
Ancora troppi rispetto a quelli a mia disposizione.
Il mio budget è infatti di 89 HIVE, derivanti dalla conversione di 20k DEC.
Al prezzo attuale significa che ho a disposizione poco più di 23k DEC... poco più di 1/3 di ciò che mi serve.
E' vero, ho sicuramente fatto dei progressi, soprattutto perchè il noleggio delle mie carte continua ad andare molto bene e mi consente ogni mese di aggiungere altri 6k DEC circa al mio portafoglio... ma non è sufficiente.
Ciò di cui avrei bisogno è un bel pump nel prezzo di HIVE, in modo da poter drasticamente ridurre la distanza che mi separa dal mio obiettivo.
Nel mentre l'unica cosa che posso continuare a fare è effettuare periodiche conversioni da DEC ad HIVE, così da aumentare le possibilità che un aumento improvviso nel valore di quest'ultimo sia sufficiente a farmi raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Aggiungere quegli Arconti alla mia collezione è una mia priorità e mi aiuterebbe moltissimo a rendere Splinterlands un tassello sempre più importante all'interno del mio portafoglio.
Con quelle carte potrei arrivare - o almeno andarci davvero vicino - a generare 10k DEC al mese, abbastanza per cominciare a pormi obiettivi ancora più ambiziosi.
