PEPE Dollar
Idea of a PEPE Dollar has been mentioned a few times.
Recently brought up was the idea like a BEE Dollar.
The idea of burning PEPE, which we like to do.
Resulting in a PEPE Dollar for your burned PEPE for burning a (one) $HBD worth.
Mi like this idea in that it would be a way to use and burn PEPE tokens while also resulting in a stable coin. While this may also be limited it may be a good one to bring outside of the (Hive) Blockchain to another.
Let us know what you think as and to the community.
Maybe a develop is interested in the idea as well that may offer to set it up if there is enough interest. If so could burn so many PEPE from the Treasury into these PEPE Dollars to get things started.

Yes of course. Why it would be required to burn a dollar, or HBD, worth of PEPE tokens. Stability would be up to the holders, especially in the beginning. !INDEED !WEIRD !BBH
When the time comes that you would create a PEPEDOLLAR (or similar name) token (on #HiveEngine), you might want to study how the HBD first-layer Hive token and the CENT second-layer token which is on Hive Engine try to keep their prices as close as possible to 1 USD each. 🤔🤓😏 !LOLZ !DIY

Yes. Probably enough, yes, as it only takes a few to get it started and others may follow.
Look at costs: 100 BEE for the token and 1000 BEE for the pool "PEPE Dollar" (maybe PEPED) Who wouldn't like to PEPE'D (other) people? About 384 HIVE ~ 115 HBD.
So we may look at ways to covering costs, or electing for the Treasury to cover the cost. Think such may be worth it with community support. As this would add a way to burn PEPE tokens and create "PEPE Dollars". Maybe this could be explored to reach out on another blockchain as a PEPE token that others may be interested in as well. Also have an added advantage of adding value to it by making posts on HIVE and staking HBD from such to add MOAR value creating MOAR than one HBD of value per PEPE Dollar.

We could start with the token, the requirement of burning one dollar worth, and traded in HIVE initially. Maybe even call it a/the KEKE Dollar (of Kekistan), or that may be too much fer sum, and we stik wit Pepe Dollar. :)

Yes! It may be pegged to any dollar holders so choose. Given the ability to create a pool with HBD it would probably pegged to such on Hive. If it were to be outside of Hive then the "Dollar". Unless we managed to find a way to grow the Pepe Dollar so it was soft peggs and open to a mixture of things that may help it go towards to positive side of the Dollar and hence to not shrink with it. !WEIRD !INDEED !BBH
Pegging it to HBD would be a good choice, I think. There's also BEED, the BEE Dollar stable token, which doesn't presently have too many uses yet. Having it pegged to a basket of different solid assets could also work. I look forward to seeing where you decide to take it! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
