Hola querido hiver.
Cuando a finales del año pasado visité el Palacio de la Aljafería en buena compañía escribí esto en la publicación que dediqué a ese recorrido por el interior de sus muros:
En esta parte sigue instalada la exposición Goya del Museo al Palacio. Dejé que mi acompañante se deleitase con las obras de nuestro pintor universal y me dediqué a tomar algunos detalles que mostraré en un futuro post.
Este es aquel futuro post. Mientras @enraizar disfrutaba a su aire de las pinturas y del monumento que las contiene, yo volví a mirar las obras buscando detalles que se me pudieran haber pasado por alto en mi anterior visita.
En la primera parte me detuve a leer esa carta manuscrita. Hay algo en la escritura a mano que me atrae especialmente. Además, en este caso el protagonista tenía una letra bastante legible y eso permite que entiendas la misiva, algo que no es tan habitual.
En este post no describiré ni explicaré las obras, para eso puedes ir a la publicación que enlazo arriba. Esta vez dejaré que las disfrutes y que seas tú quien interprete y sienta los mensajes que transmitió nuestro genio universal.
Los cuadros estrella de la exposición repiten publicación, aunque no sean los mismos disparos de cámara la situación estática de los modelos hacen que se vean como las mismas fotografías. Pero tuve ocasión de pararme un poco más de tiempo delante de ellos y capturé algunos detalles que nos muestran el talento del pintor.
Es fascinante cómo con cuatro pinceladas era capaz de representar una puntilla o un bordado.
Estos retratos de Carlos IV, su mujer María Luisa de Parma y de su hijo Fernando VII transmiten fielmente la psicología de los protagonistas y cómo los veía Goya.
Por supuesto, fue Fernando VII quien salió peor parado de los tres. Hizo méritos sobrados para ello, pues es probable que sea de los peores gobernantes que ha tenido España en toda su historia.
Por muchas veces que repita, el Palacio de la Aljafería, igual que las pinturas de Goya, siempre ofrecen un motivo para el deleite y el descubrimiento.

When I visited the Aljafería Palace in good company, I wrote this in the post I dedicated to that tour inside its walls:
The Goya exhibition from the Museum to the Palace is still on display in this section. I let my companion enjoy the works of our universal painter whilst I focused on capturing some details that I will share in a future post.
This is that future post. Whilst @enraizar was enjoying the paintings and the monument that houses them at his own pace, I went back to look at the works, searching for details I might have overlooked on my previous visit.
In the first part, I stopped to read that handwritten letter. There is something about handwriting that particularly appeals to me. What’s more, in this case, the writer’s handwriting was quite legible, which allows you to understand the message – something that isn’t all that common.
In this post, I won’t be describing or explaining the works; for that, you can refer to the post I’ve linked to above. This time, I’ll let you enjoy them and allow you to interpret and feel the messages conveyed by our universal genius.
The star pieces of the exhibition are repeated in this post; although they are not the same camera shots, the static poses of the models make them look like the same photographs. But I had the chance to stand in front of them a little longer and captured some details that showcase the painter’s talent.
It is fascinating how, with just four brushstrokes, he was able to depict lace or embroidery.
These portraits of Charles IV, his wife Marie Louise of Parma and their son Ferdinand VII faithfully convey the characters’ inner lives and how Goya saw them.
Of course, it was Ferdinand VII who came off worst of the three. He certainly deserved it, as he is probably one of the worst rulers Spain has ever had in its entire history.
No matter how many times I visit it, the Aljafería Palace, just like Goya’s paintings, always offers something new to delight and discover.

Aunque decir algo nuevo sobre tan poderoso pintor de la España.que tantos grandes ha dado , confieso que en mi formación autodidacta hay mucho de Goya
Me leí ensu momento una b6ena biografía del.ointir además de ver una serie televisiva donde mostraban la pujanza y el.caracter personal del.artista.
Precursor del.modernismo y de la caricatura lo.considero el Vetoven de la pintura global.La suma de su obra es una grandiosa y estridente sinfonía que estremece las paredes de cualquier lugar donde estén colgadas
Pudo contentarse con ser el pintor de la corte. Disfrutar de la comodidad de palacio.y la aduloneria de los clientes pintando retratos e académicos y embetunadis pero su espíritu volcánico no se lo permitía.
Está entre mi selección de los más grandes,

Me acuerdo mucho de vosotros en estos días, sé que las dificultades que ya teníais ahora están agudizadas. Las fotografías se quedan grabadas en la blockchain para que las puedas ver cuando esas condiciones mejores.

Estoy inmensamente agradecido por esta publicación y prometo acercarme a las demás que sobre estos temas vas compartiendo con nosotros que estamos en esta otra esquina del mundo.

Tener la oportunidad de mostrar al resto del mundo el arte de Goya es un privilegio para mí y lo hago con mucho gusto y cariño. Yo también disfruto de lo que otros usuarios comparten. Es una forma diferente de viajar a todos los rincones del planeta sin moverme de casa, jeje.
En Cuba de arte vais sobrados, al menos eso deduzco por lo activa que es vuestra comunidad en tan necesario aspecto del ser humano.

Beyond Goya’s uniquely evocative "portraits of the soul," what you point out regarding his economy of brushwork—his ability to conjure up intricate embroidery with just a few light touches of the brush—has always fascinated me. He is a true master of this art.
To conclude with a word about you, the author: you undoubtedly possess a magnificent eye for art—your photographs speak for themselves.

Recuerdo muy bien la anterior publicación y me parece una excelente idea dejar a los que te visitamos dsufrutar de los detalles y de nuestra mirada a la obra de este aragonés universal.
Además de los retratos del alma tan particulares de Goya, lo que señalas sobre la economía del trazo, la capacidad de Goya de construir bordados con solo unos toques ligeros del pincel siempre me ha fascinado. Es un maestro en este arte.
Por concluir con la autora, sin duda, tienes una magnífica mirada para el arte: lo dicen las fotografías.

Como persona con alta sensibilidad trato de sacarle partido, jeje. Pero con Goya no hacen falta méritos, él solito se vale porque cualquiera de sus obras contiene diminutos detalles en los que fijarse.
Otro que era un maestro en eso de lograr bordados era Velázquez. Fue lo que más me impresionó cuando vi sus obras en el Prado. Cuando vi en esta exposición que Goya comenzó copiando obras suyas comprendí de dónde lo aprendió.
As a highly sensitive person, I try to make the most of it, hehe. But with Goya, you don’t need any special skills; he stands on his own merits because every single one of his works contains tiny details to look out for.
Another artist who was a master at achieving such intricate detail was Velázquez. That was what impressed me most when I saw his works at the Prado. When I saw in this exhibition that Goya began by copying Velázquez’s works, I realised where he’d learnt it from.
Desconocia el detalle deo origen de los "bordados" de Goya. No le sorprende, Velázquez, como Goya, son de otra liga, la de los inmortales.

I didn’t know that bit about the origin of Goya’s ‘embroideries’. It doesn’t surprise me: Velázquez, like Goya, is in a league of his own – the league of the immortals.
