A few days ago, I visited the house of my uncles who live in a chalet-style house in the Hills of Carrizal, on the Via de Los Teques. 

Hace unos días, visité la casa de mis tíos que viven en una casa estilo chalet en Las Colinas de Carrizal, en la vía de Los Teques. 

I love to visit them. That house is really cozy, from the entrance full of flowers, to my uncle's garden, not to mention the beauty shown by the ferns that he has in the entrance.

A mí me encanta visitarlos. Esa casa es realmente acogedora, desde la entrada llena de flores, hasta el jardín de mi tío, sin contar la belleza que muestran los helechos que tiene en la entrada.

On the porch of the house, there are antique leather furniture, and in the corner there is a beautiful jar that, if it is true, is not in use, it would regain its beauty with some maintenance. 

En el porche de la casa, hay muebles de cuero antiguos, y en la esquina hay un hermoso tinajero que, si es cierto, no está en uso, recuperaría su belleza con algo de mantenimiento. 

And when I pass by, I am reminded of how divine it is to drink the jar water. That reminds one of one's cultural origins, especially if one comes from the Los Llanos area.

Y cuando paso por ahí, me recuerdo de lo divino que es beber el agua de tinaja. Eso le, recuerda a uno sus orígenes culturales y más si uno viene de la zona de los llanos.

I also had the opportunity to see the red-footed terrapins. Here in Venezuela we tell that turtle morrocoy, his parrot, his cat and his dog, all of that I saw carried by the hand by Samadhi, my cousin's four-year-old girl.

También tuve la oportunidad de ver las tortugas terrestres de patas rojas. Acá en Venezuela le decimos a esa tortuga morrocoy, su loro, su gato y su perro, todo eso lo vi llevado de la mano por Samadhi, la niña de cuatro años de mi primo.

She, finally, did not let me take many photos, since I started playing football with her, and I dedicated time to listen to her, since she is starting to talk and does not stop questioning one about the world around her.

Ella, finalmente, no me dejó tomar muchas fotos, ya que me puse a jugar fútbol con ella, y le dediqué tiempo para escucharla, ya que está empezando a hablar y no deja de interrogarlo a uno sobre el mundo que la rodea.
