El día de hoy, tuve la oportunidad de ir al Mercado Popular de Coche, que es tal vez el más importante de la ciudad, y eso se debe a que este es el mercado de mayoristas de la producción agrícola nacional. A este mercado llegan los productos agrícolas que vienen de los diferentes Estados del país, y los dueños de comercios y ventas de víveres vienen a comprar sus productos aquí, para luego revenderlos en sus comercios. En el mercado, además de la venta al por mayor, también hay una venta minorista, donde los consumidores podemos comprar productos muy frescos, hasta con un 30 o 40 % menor al costo en que lo venden los comercios. Es un mercado muy interesante, donde se pueden ver diferentes tipos de productos, familias enteras haciendo el proceso de venta y niños acompañando a sus padres en el punto de venta.
