This year's first IPO investment

I often invest on IPO, and sometimes I'm lucky enough to get the allocation, and sometimes I'm not. basically it's a random process, I believe, where some of the investors are selected for the allocation, and most of the time, this investment is profitable in the short term. There are high chances that investing in an IPO can be profitable, but at the same time, it is also possible that you might end up losing some money on the IPO investment. While I apply for many IPOs, I also make sure that I choose the companies to invest in that are good in terms of market presence and other fundamentals, which are required to be green before I invest in any company.

Today, a new IPO has been opened for investment, and it is from the company called Shadowfax Technologies. It is a logistics company, and it is not a new company for me because, for the last few years, I have often availed its services for e-commerce deliveries. I don't know whether this company provide the option for any individual to avail the direct services because I never availed it, but most of the time I have seen the company executives deliver different products. I experienced that their services are good and fast because generally they deliver orders in less time, and they follow the OTP mechanism to ensure the authentic delivery.

I believe that it is always good to invest in the companies that we use in our day-to-day life, and this logistics company can be a good one from that perspective. I'm going to invest in this company's IPO today, and this investment window is valid for three days starting today and will end on 22nd January 2026. I have done my study on this company already Which gives me a good vibe investing in this. So I am hoping that I will be lucky enough to get an allocation. Last year, 2025, some companies provided good returns on the investment through IPO, and I also got some of the options in the past, so I hope that this time it also happens.

It's all dependent upon the allocation so if I get some allocation I can expect some profitability And generally I do not The stocks that I invested through IPO. for me it's a short term investment which I sell off just after the allocation and listing Because I invest for long term on different set of companies and IPO does not fall in that category for me.

Investing in IPO can also be a risky game, so it is obvious that if somebody is investing in IPO, the person has to be ready for the loss probability as well, since you just can't expect the investment to be on the positive side all the time. It can be a positive investment, which happens to be in many cases, but again its not always going to be the same. This is going to be my first IPO investment in the New Year 2026, but because last year 2025 was good, I hope that this is also going to be the same or even better. Let's see! Thank you.
