looks like you are playing the frontier mode, i have only tried it once after seeing your post, haven't played splinterlands in a long time.

And yes, I play Frontier as those cards are NOT soulbound.
The other formats are more for the fun, or need to pay to unbind the cards before being able to send or sell them.
