I appreciate the clarification, and I agree this is about Scripture, not attacking anyone’s faith. 😊
Jesus being Lord of the Sabbath (Matt. 12:8) is clear, and He Himself kept the Sabbath. At the same time, Scripture records His resurrection and appearances on the first day of the week, and the early believers gathered then (John 20:19; Acts 20:7).
So I think the important point is to distinguish what Scripture explicitly commands from what Christian tradition practices. The Bible never directly says, “Sunday is now the Sabbath.” That’s where different Christian traditions interpret the Scriptures differently.
For me, following Jesus means respecting His example while also recognizing what the early Church practiced. 🙏🏽❤️
100% Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, commonly called Sunday. No disputing that.
It's just so important that we follow what Christ said...'It is written'. And His tradition was to keep Sabbath like His Father wrote.

And I understand the desire to follow church traditions, I just think it's much more important to follow what the bible says and what Jesus lived. If that makes sense....
