WHY DOESN'T GOD JUST RID THE WORLD OF EVIL?

A superior intelligence, always seems foolish. I think the lions and bears will look at humans as foolish.

That's how far away from God's intelligence every human is. More than 30yrs ago,in primary school, it was easy for me to ask "intelligent" questions like, "why was the Devil allowed by God to still keep doing evil?"

What I mean is that, it doesn't take much study to come up with "intelligent " takes like:

  1. what good policing allows the robber to keep running wild?
  2. If it is true the robber knows the power of the police is unrivalled, why is the robber still fighting back?
    Etc

These questions are not hard questions from rocket science, a little child can ask those. So it's all human wisdom, a wisdom that is grossly limited actually.

"for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so my[God] deeds are superior to your[man's] deeds and my plans superior to your plans."

Real snakes, poisonous ones were biting the Israelites in huge numbers, it was a plague, people kept dying. As a solution, God asked their President, Moses, to mould a snake with copper and bronze, then set it up on a pole. God said the cure to the plague of snake bites is for folks to ignore the real snakes around them and just gaze at this brazen snake.

These are real stories in history, I'm not a middle eastern, but the records of this event are there in the middle east till today.

Ofcourse, the solution God gave to real snake bites looks utterly foolish, and it seemed foolish to then too. Shouldn't God have told Moses that there was no solution or at least teach Moses how to prepare a spray or something to ward off the marauding snakes?

But how God's wisdom is higher than ours. Everyone who dared to look at that sculpted snake was perfectly healed from the effect of the poisonous snake bites and didn't die.

Cheers
