Today I would like to share a few black and white photos from a recent visit to an amusement park. Where amusement parks usually are full of bright colors, I thought black it would be cool to convert the photos in black and white to give it a total other atmosphere.
I hope this worked out the way I intended....
The park (The Efteling in The Netherlands) is famous for the theming of its attractions and its attention to details.
But judge for yourself.
This hounted house is one of the newest attractions in the park. You wouldn't say it's new when you see the state of it, do you?

This looks like a flying crown, but it's actually called the Pagode; a circular platform in Asian style that goes op and gives you a perfect view over the park and the environment.

This is the kings castle.

This last one was actually my favorite ride; a rollercoaster with a horizontal drop. The story is about a hunted mine. The rollercoaster hangs a few seconds above the mine shaft and then drops down at high speed into the mine. The mining theme is carried through exceptionally well. From the waiting queues inside, down to the smallest details.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on these images. Feel free to share your perspective in the comments.

I think you achieved your goal. I don't know if it was the lighting or the lack of color, maybe the buildings that remind me of Dracula movies. The park looks eerie, but honestly, even with sunshine and color, I wouldn't ride that roller coaster.
Have a great day @friendlymoose.
Thanks. Especially the haunted house was very scary. Also on the inside, but it was too dark to take photos inside.
The rollercoaster was really a thrilling ride!
I don't doubt it, but I'll pass.
