Artemis II Moon Mission Complete

(edited)

NASA's Artemis II Crew Return to Houston

This live event is about to begin, the mission was a success. Whether you believe it, or doubt it, let's watch this together and hear what they have to say. I think it is something quite impressive if true, my skepticism is due to not being there on the trip myself. If I could see the Earth and the Moon from such a distance high above, I would be in awe myself for sure. What do we know for sure?

New views from the Moon, that I shared on Facebook last week. Pale blue dot, Earth, our home.

This stunning image of the Dark Side of the Moon, incredible to see.

I had also posted this memory from 2020, for scale comparison to Jupiter's storm.

"Measuring 16,350 km in width, Jupiter's Great Red Spot is 1.3 times the diameter of Earth. The cloud-tops of this storm are about 8 km above the surrounding cloud-tops."

The latest video has begun, let's watch this together! Will they recap the whole mission for us?

"Our bright beautiful home, suspended in the vastness in space, reminds us how connected we are, how alive we are, and how precious this shared planet really is."
