Last Friday, one of our co-worker had resigned from her post and on that day was the last day of her work in the company. She was assigned on the sales which was different from my assigned work but we always talked whenever we had a chance to talk together.
As her last day of her work last Friday, the company gifted her learnings, and a small snacks with most of the employees within the company.
It was my first times seeing this farewell to an employees, maybe she had that farewell employees because she was kind, pure, and dedication to her work.
After all our work done and I think that was after work, we gathered together at the second floor of the building because it was big and enough for most of the employees.
The HR prepared something for her like a certificate of her recognition and also snacks which were cakes and a lemon juice drink.
Before handling her the certificate, our manager gave a speech to her about her journey within the company. Also, most of the department heads gave speech to her as to her endless dedication of her work within the company. Some of her close worker friends gave a small speech, too.
The speech has mixed of emotions, laughter, encouragement on her next journey, and etc. With most of them were encouragement on her new journey after this.
Also, the employee that resigned gave her last speech to all of us and thanking us about her learnings within the company and she grows so much within the span of months.
She even cried at her last speech that makes us more emotional. Not only her that she cried but also to the people who were close to her shed tears on her last day of her work.
Our boss was the last one to give speech to her, not a long one but a short speech that gave an impact to her and also gave encouragement about her new journey of her work.
As our boss finished his speech, we ate the snacks that was prepared from the company and the snacks were cakes and this Del-C calamansi juice drink.
I think it's a great loss for a dedicated employee resigned but she gave the company a big help from the tasked that she was given. But we need to move on because that's the lifecycle of working in a company. Some may leave and there were some that will join into the company.
I, too, experience many times of resigning in companies on my work before (which was an ESL). Well, that was when I was still an ESL teacher because it was very stressful, but yeah, still new learning after resigning and applying for another ESL company again.

You’re right, that’s the reality of workplace life, some leave, some stay. But every departure leaves behind lessons, memories and inspiration for the people who remain.
there is a reason why the person had left,or resign of her/his Job,maybe because he/she fine a good opportunity, but
but nothing can beat the company of a true friend or a person.

It's so nice to hear about a company that values its people enough to give them such a heartfelt send-off 💖 The speeches and emotions show what a great team you have 🙌 It makes those goodbyes a little easier to bear 😊
